So we've been informed that Lady in Red and Kenshi will be part of the first batch of DLC for this game. Considering Kenshi is #2 on the chart, most of you will be very pleased.

Bear in mind, it's since been stated that this might be an April Fool's joke, so take the announcement with a grain of salt for the time being.

Yes The waterfront in mk3 is a very boring stage but if they added some floating bodies of survivors and outworld's casualties along with wreckage of stuff in the backround I'd think it'd be much better.

I think we may see all of them as dlc but should they? should they be save until mk 4. Although mk szm is a prequel I always consider it closer related to the mk 4 story. but yeah they all could appear because there alive at this point but it may take away from there impact in mk 10 (espacially shinnok)

(Cyber smoke prolly but I wouldnt gaurentee it) I mean gameplay wise whats the huge diffrence. I mean as a cyborg he has a scorpion spear and thats like his only robo power, ill watch some mk 3 vids and see if im wrong but making this a seprate character and not an alt seems redonk ... well they did it for somone else so i gesse its not out of the question, but said character has alot of diffrent special moves so it dosent suprise me.

yeah he has a spear that comes out of his chest that had one purpose. I theres not much you can use with that, deffinatly not worth making a whole new character over.

Just give it to him as an alt (which should already be in the game imo)

Hello, I'm a new member on this site and been a MK fan since the first MK game.

Here's my dream DLC:

1. Sareena: Since, Quan Chi is her master, and she has had connections with Noob (Classis SZ) and Younger Sub Zero it’s only fair to add her, her demonic background I find it interesting she is stuck in evil but has a good heart all her wants to freedom from the Netheralms and wants be a beauty and mortal, and her moves in MKA were the best to me, the best addition in MKA IMO. Besides I think it would be cool to have a demonic fatality type and give her more of a story line since she is basically connected with Quan Chi and Sub Zeros which are huge part of MK storylines.

2. Khameleon: I think of all minor characters she is the one that needs an upgrade, she is the only survivor female reptilian character and has a great connection with Reptile I mean come on time to make her unique, using reptilian moves and special moves with today's technology I think she will one of the strongest females. What I always found odd was the MK Team usually left her out and preferred characters like Kira and Kobra instead of Khameleon and Rain. I mean really?

3. Shinnok: Just like Sareena, he is a major part of the MK storyline prior to MK1 and after MK3, I hope they make him more evil and more with mystical dark magic elements, I mean after all he is the ruler of the Netherrealm, a dark fallen god needs an upgrade like MKA but 10X better.

4. Fujin: The God of Wind that was suppose to take over Raiden after the events of MK4 however that never happened, since he was also in MKM: SZ I also think he will be a great asset to MK9 and the storyline

5. Rain: I think everyone wants Rain and badly and I think since Ermac made it why not Rain? His story is not really explained just that he used to be from Edania and his is a half God and half brother of Taven, how ? why? when? That info never got told, so I like to see a more evil Rain and not less cheesy I mean in MKA throwing water as a projectile was pretty lame IMO he needs an upgrade and fast.

Possibly future Kharacters: Kia and Jataaka: I would like to see them as a tag team with Sareena in some point like Noob-Smoke, and for being Quan Chi's assassins I’m surprised they barley even get involved they have so much potential and MK Team doesn't see it, I would love to see Jataaka with long braided hair in a pony tail and Kia more aggressive and demonic evil, I think that would be great.

It's confirmed that Motaro WON'T be on the DLC. just Kenshi and Skarlett

1.Reiko: I have been bad ass with him in both appearances.
2.Tanya: Good girl gone bad, her MK4 ending kicked so much ass. Gameplay wise I like her ability to control the field with fire balls & juggle.
3.Frost: I loved her in Deadly Alliance, in fact she was the only character I enjoyed playing with in that one...
4.Rain: Round out the MK3 cast already.
5.Shinnok: Yes he sucked out loud in MK4, but his clone that participated in the Armageddon Tourney? Gave you a glimpse of his potential power the like of which haven't been seen since Mythologies

Out of all of the DLC threads that have popped up since we knew about the upcoming Mortal Kombat, Baraka407's thread managed to survive the longest. Having collected votes from this sticky, and all other top five character DLC threads that were created in the month of March, I present the final results:

2nd: Kenshi (39.1%)

Rain and Kenshi have held their positions for essentially the entire month.

Fujin, Sareena, and Tanya battled for third place for the past couple of weeks. Even now, the total number of votes for these characters differ by at most two votes.
