This is concerning the 3D exclusive option for PS3, Now the stages are like a 2D plane so I dont understand how there will be an option for 3D, I could imagine the stage where Khan is but how will it work for the other stages. Boon didnt make it very clear, and why is it exclusive for PS3?

Sony may have sealed a deal with them. Apparently the Xbox 360 doesn't fully support 3D gaming. I haven't really seen any perpherials for it either. The 3D aspect will purely be a gimmick. I for one am not interested in all this 3D gaming just yet!

Thats because the PS3 has had the 3D function since it came out all they did was a firmware update to enable it, Sony is on board with the whole 3D thing since they make 3D TVs and glasses.

also the 3D's effect wont impact gameplay that much the selling point is the fatalities for example look at Kung Lao's hat throw fatality they made the camera angle towards the screen to make it more appealing in 3D.

also for the update the Church arena has been renamed The Cathedral.

yeah its just that pop out of the screen 3D with glasses and not to mention expensive TV, its really if you want to go the extra mile to enjoy the visuals a bit more.

Yeah the 3D thing is purely a gimmick. It won't take off for another good few years in gaming. That's if they even make it fully immersive.

Yeah the 3D Television's aren't exactly a commodity right now. They make take off in a few years. But I don't feel that it will be the must have technology! The whole gimmick is nefarious to say the least! Novelty much.

Why not Liu Kang? It's a chance to make him more "Three-dimensional" like everyone wants.

I'd say Liu Kang is pretty much a given. Unless Raiden does something wack with his enlightenment.

ive noticed that the weapons in the new game are setup as fighting moves as opposed to accessed by switching styles. i like the new way, switching styles just seemed kinda generic to me. if it was something like hold a shoulder button to draw weapon release to sheath weapon that would have been cool too, as long as switching styles are a thing of the past.

The simple fact that blood can be splattered anywhere and characters can be damaged to the max is AMAZING. Think of the possibilities yo. I have no complaints about anything so far. This game is finally on point. Very long awaited.

Question that I do not know if it has been answered or where to find answer so sorry. I hear them talk about ONLINE stuff what about OFFLINE VS? It will have it I hope? Boon and Co. haven't been stupid enough to remove the feature prior but ALOT of games have disappointed me lately be leaving it out in favor of going Online ONLY which blows if you have friends who like to play the game in the same ROOM together without linking TVs or buying multiple freakin' copies just to do do! Also in regards to Tag Team mode, online has 2 on one console VS another 2 on different console, any chance for an offline 4 player option??
