It looks incredibly violent, the gameplay is perfect.

The Fatalities are sick, the brutality of the fights is impressive. This is by far the best looking fighting game i've seen in years!

I am so stoked for this game to be released!! Finnally a mortal kombat like 1,2, and ultimate or should I say trillogy. lol goto love those fatalitys!

The characters really do look like they play so differently. Also, they have so many specials and variations with the super moves its awesome! I cannot wait for this. Definitely the best MK game in years, if not the best MK game of all time. Just think how good it will be with another 9 months time...jeeze.

Jesus Christ though, everything looks so fucking beautiful/brutal.

The differences in character animations are just blowing my mind. Like characters even use their powers during punches and kicks, I saw Sektor doing a jet from his hand and I think Nightwolf pulled out a green knife at one point in between hatchet attacks or as part of a combo. They even have little individual win poses at the end of the FIRST round too while the opponent's trying to wake up.

I'm going to say this anyone who had a problem with this game needs to really take a look at the gamespot video and put all your worries to bed.
Each person has their own entrance,they all move different,they have thier
own stances,and the tag team is awsome.The finishers were great,man I love everything I saw.Thanks Ed and the whole mk team for all your hard work.

Any doubts I had are erased.

It looked infinitely better than the original trailer (just look at Johnny's hair for example). The graphics ARE stunning. There were individual character intros and dialogue. The animations have been greatly smoothed out. X-ray moves are sickeningly amazing (think Street Fighter's Ultras.... but they HURT). I loved Sub-Zero freezing the guy's liver and crushing it and Nightwolf jacking two axes into his opponent's shoulders before breaking their back. The battle damage was inspiring (I loved a flap of Scorpion's skin on his chest just hanging off). The combo system looks deep and well implemented. I loved watching Sektor lock onto an opponent, fire a missile, teleport out of the way of an attack, the missile hits, and he then tele-uppercuts them. It was movie-choreographed quality. The fatalities are sickeningly realistic and gory (some of the best ever).

I'm ranting but I'll sum it up like this: MK was always missing those "little touches". They're all here. Characters are uniquely designed, animated, and executed. The graphics are impressive.

There's no doubt in my mind this will put MK back into peoples hearts and inspire a new generation of fans.

I gotta see that shit again. I just GOTTA, that shit was outstanding. And I can't even downplay it with a "oh it's just a bunch of clips sewn together"...

Finally, people will stop talking shit about MK.

The game looks perfect. I usually love gore but when I saw the fight, I almost felt disturbed by the brutality of the fights, more than awesome.

man couldn't find anything wrong even if I wanted to, Ive never so excited for a fighting in years, and we just saw a little piece, and them playing the MK theme song at the end and the People's reaction to the Kung Lao fataltiy was just Awesome!!!

I'm still in awe at that footage. It's like I took a time capsule back to MK2's era... only it's BETTER than I remember.

Barely managed to catch it, had to watch it on Internet Explorer, rather than Firefox. Blown away, all the combos and specials for the characters were amazing. Can't even describe how fluid and fun it looked. Johnny Cage actually looks great, and I'm loving every character. Especially Scorpion and Reptile. Holy crap. Looks like characters might have multiple grab moves, but I'm not entirely sure.

And the some of the characters, like Kung Lao for example, actually speak before the match begins!

Scorpion's spear looks almost unpunishable. There's a flaw for you.

Anyone notice how Sub-Zero's ground freeze plants the opponent on the ground? Pretty cool

until it has back dash cancel anti-air assist invincibility frame tech roll roundhouse buffering.

Yeah, but then did you see the ground freeze where the spike erupted from under and impaled them into the air? I'm already in love with how the super bar effects powers (like Nightwolf firing three arrows in three directions).

See, I've always seen it as in our best interests to treat those tourney guys like the no-fun assholes they are. It should be US shunning THEM, not the other way around.
