What do you base that on?

You know you've master the jungle when you can do Tarzan-esque stuff in 6 inch stilettos lol. But yeah, she looks a little ridiculous, she's wearing less than Mileena. It looks like she was late for a fight and didn't have time to put on the rest of her clothes. At least the other Edenian's outfits and accessories look like they go together.

But, why are the female characters always chained up? The one's I've been looking forward to seeing chained up are Sonya and Kano, hope to see them soon...

If you look really closely at her face, it looks kinda skull like or rotten to me. It's hard to tell even at 720p fullscreen, and when I take it into an editor and blow it up, but it just doesn't look like human flesh to me. I'm thinking shes undead or something, and that scarf or ninja mask around her neck/collar would likely cover it up or something.

I agree with those who have said she looks quite boring. Justa nother female "assasin" clone who's wearing minimal clothing, and high heeled boots. No thanks, hope she stays in the background only.

I'm totally loving these "little clues", easter eggs, trivia, and "mind games" they like to play with us.

We got various hints of Sonya in new videos that caused endless debates/speculation (remember the whole Sindel/Sonya pic?), we got Jax's shadow in the "shadow trailers" video, background characters that have caused tons of speculation, etc.

I love these kind of stuff and the nods they give to the fans (Santa in the moon) and I'm looking forward for more.

Do we exactly know what the MK time line is? Just because almost 20 years has passed since MK1 doesnt necessarily mean that the time line of events took place over 20 years. Hell the events of Armageddon could have taken place 2 years or 12 months after MK 1

I don't think she looks much like Sareena, so there goes my hope that that underrepresented character would get a new costume.

Looks like a new character, and I'll concede that this is the first time I'm genuinely disappointed in a design. I'll withhold final judgment until I see a better image, but it just looks a bit ugly. There's not real balance of clothing, no real motif to build from, no real "flow" of the costume. It looks just like an alternate, skimpier costume for Kira to me.

I agree, she might also be Sareena, which is not interesting in my opinion, I so much prefer the inclusion of Tanya or Li Mei if possible instead of her.

Costume should look more like this.

We know theres 10 years between MK:M and MK4 and 2 years from MK:M to MK1.

Scorpions bio said he died 2 years before the tournament. so thats proven, and its mentioned that MK:M and MK4 are 10 years apart (thanks razor)

MKDA supposedly occured after a lengthy period of peace and calm on Earth, where Sub-Zero has had enough time to build his new Lin Kuei and train Frost, while Kitana and Goro have been in a long military campaign against Outworld, etc.


So yea, Id say theres a gap of about 10 years. enough evidence for you?

The sash has the same design than the one from the leg leak, so yes, this is 99.99998% sure she.

I think the costume isn't finished. The costumes on Jade, Kitana and Mileena are more elaborate. You can say that they are all bikinis, but they have a lot of details and personal designs. This one at leas on this blurry image looks quite simple.

As for who she is, I really wish to have Sareena on this game. They said there wouldn't be new characters in fact, but you know how Ed is, he could say: hey, Skarlett was a fan created character but not a new one.

Shaun Himmerick also claimed in an interview somethign along the lines of: There were characters that diddnt exist before and were rumours, were going to make sure some of them exist this time.

IMO thats Skarlett right there. The only other one Il bet we might see is Hornbuckle. WHo knows? maybe we will see nimbus or another character get killed as a minor civilian? like a cameo fan easter egg death.

This is actually might be the red-leg mystery we've been looking for. She is definitely not Kira. I'm going for Skarlett. Ed Boon said us that we would get a character reveal if Shao Kahn won the race against RAAM. But as he hasn't told us anything of it ever since, she couldn't be so important then.

The character he was referring to was most likely Skarlet with a cameo appearance. The reason why she looks obviously worse than the rest of the cast could be because NRS doesn't want anyone to adhere with her, yet still granting the fans wishes. Skarlet makes the other women look better with her lousy costume.

But I have to confess the costume sucks. A little disappointed she seems to be going the typical red assassin route, but whatever.
