Today, NetherRealm Studios are holding an In-Studio Tournament, complete with a bracketed system with the roster of their designers and developers which is set to stream live across the internet realm! Mortal Kombat 2011, Mortal Kombat II and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 are to be featured!

"At 2:30PM CST, NetherRealm Studios greatest Designers, Personnel and Developers will battle it out in an intense in-house Tournament!"

Came here to say the same thing. The ones I've seen so far have all been terrible, I'm kinda surprised. Not sure if its normal or not for the developers of a game to not really be interested in playing it though.

It's quite embarrasing to watch really.

None of them are particularly good, apart from a select three or four. I stopped watching a while back. You'd have thought, considering the time they've spent with the game that they would be God-like!

I'd defeat all of them in a single KOTH streak!

Great PR (hopefully they're actively keeping interest in the game for a specific purpose) but sadly, rather boring. But that's not a comment on their skill or whatever, I just find it really tedious watching other people play. I rarely ever stick around long enough to play KOTH.

I've recently started on a 3D College, studying 3D graphics, and my teacher told me this; either you play games or you MAKE games!

I think this is the case. They have been too busy to make the game to become pro at it. I don't think they were half-bad though.

No, but you might want to see and/or enjoy the final product. Like what all your hard work went to create maybe? And if your willing to spend 8 ours on special effects as a career one MIGHT assume you are interested in what you're doing. Like how many video game developers/designers don't play video games?

Trying out the game to see how it plays and to see if something needs tweaking is WAY different than getting pro at it. Most of the time, they play the game for work-reference, not to get good at it.
