It is amazing what this game did to some characters' popularity....I seriously think I was the only Rain fan before this game came out and now everyone's siggie has Rain in it. It feels weird :P

I'm sure the one Hsu Hao fan will always remain alone.

Him and the single occasionally lucid Mokap fan who is otherwise stark raving mad.

It's no surprise there are lots of new fans, given this is a new generation of MK. Rain is in now, and I'm *totally* cool with that,

slightly off-topic, but am i the only one who thinks it's a real shame that nrs didnt reveal characters like THIS throughout the game's production? a couple of mentions and hints, a full render, a gameplay video, and then a story vignette?

we all know the publicity for this game was a bit of a shambles, but NOBODY could have complained if they'd released characters EXACTLY like that, maybe one every two or three weeks, drop in a couple of mkasts, stage bios and special features (x-ray, challenge tower, etc) and the hype for this game would have been ridiculous.

it's great how they're hyping the dlc characters now (probably cuz they really need us to buy them) but i cant help but think that nrs really dropped the ball here.

once again, rain looks wonderful, a perfect blend between his armageddon look and the classic ninja outfit. cannot wait until his gameplay video, which will ultimately decide whether or not i buy him (see nrs? see how excited i am?)
