Yeah, we're certainly getting down to the final few.

My money's on: Shang Tsung. I just think that his "sort of" reveal in the Liu Kang video means that he's up next.

Plus, if they're taking the time to reveal the character on GTTV, it's not going to be Sheeva, it'll be a heavy hitter that game fans (not just MK fans) will recognize. The last reveal on GTTV was Jax, another highly recognizeable character in MK.

I'm hoping for: Baraka or Kabal. Baraka get even less of a "sort of" reveal a while back, so while I think that a guy with his popularity could be the GTTV reveal, I'm not holding my breath (yet). Still, it would be great to see at least one of the guys I'm planning on using for my awesome, unbeatable tag team!

Would be happy if it's: Human Smoke or gameplay footage of any character we haven't seen gameplay footage from yet, like Stryker for example. As for Smoke, they just did a big reveal of a ninja on IGN not too long ago. I can't imagine they'll reveal another ninja in such a grand fashion so soon.

Would be shocked if it were: Quan Chi or Skarlett. I think that the red female ninja and Quan Chi will be the last reveals, if they even get a "reveal" at all.

^i doubt it will be Shang Tsung, even though i'd like to see more on him, i seem to recall a "Omg three character reveals in one video??" being tweeted by one of the devs. But either way i'm still thinking that the video was his reveal and i would rather he be given a combo video then taking up another character reveal.

Oh and I doubt a boss character would be the promoted reveal on GTTV besides just getting a few glimpses of here and there.

Here's my list of what i want:

1. Kabal
2. Sheeva/Baraka?/Rain?
3. Smoke


I'm not really sure if the screenshot of Baraka's face was his reveal or if Rain will even be in it due to the dlc requested. However I wouldn't be surprised* if ed just added him to the list so people will be more surprised* when they find out he has been included, seeing how it's kind of hard to be surprised* from a character in the original 2d games and I know how much he loves revealing surprises*.....

*used the word "surprise" 4 times within the same run-on sentence (take that grammar!)


PS: i also doubt Quan Chi because I think he's supposed to be a secret character. But who knows? i guess.

Kabal or Sheeva would be beautiful. I'm so excited for this next reveal, GTTV seems to always get the high quality character reveals( Jax had a very satisfying reveal for example).

I hope, hope, hope it's Sheeva. I wanna see her so bad!!

I think it's going to be either Kabal or Baraka. Probably Kabal. Every other character has too much of a "surprise character" factor and I think they will wait until the release of the game. I mean, look at all the speculation Smoke has gotten. Why would they confirm either form and end everyone's curiosity? It's free marketing.

I would LOVE to finally see H. Smoke tho

I really hope this "new character" isn't someone we already know is in the game. We know Smoke is in, we know Kabal is in, they can wait. They should throw us a curve-ball and announce a character we're least expecting. Spice it up!

I actually kinda hope it is Hsu Hao just to see the massive shitstorm that would ensue from his reveal.

with regards to all the unrevealed characters though, you gotta wonder why they're been left so late to be revealed. especially somebody like baraka who is nailed-on to be in the game.
as long as he looks nothing like his horrific dc universe look, you cant really go wrong.

Well, they did just release Liu and Kano, so I'm not surprised that they haven't released Baraka or Kabal. My guess is it will be someone we've already had a glimpse of, like Stryker, Sindel or Tsung. They did decent coverage on Jax when he was revealed last time (intro, win pose, stage fatality), so I hope for some good footage of whoever they release.

Don't expect Baraka, Stryker, or Shang Tsung to be he new character revealed. They were already shown in some form.

I hope we get gameplay from them though.
