I think this will be enough ninja's, I was hoping Reptile and Rain stopped dressing like some ninja, but too bad... and smoke is just falling outside the picture here for me.

I love Noob Saibot, but I loved him before in Trilogy, Smoke however I have never loved at any time, I hated his clone mk2 look, I disliked his robot form in MK3, and I was disgusted by his stupid smoke-elemental-robot form that came next.

I don't care for his friendship story with Sub-Zero aswel, really they could give that story to Sektor anytime as we know nothing about Sektors human life.

Smoke is a waste card and will always be that, even his name is bad for your health.

Like I said, aside from her few hardcore fans here, no one likes Sheeva. I hope she gets killed off early, or completely remade into something palatable.

I actually think human smoke will be pretty cool. I didn't like the cyborg incarnation either, but I hated all the cyborgs.

YOu don't seem to like any of the early fighters... A shame for you this game is gonna suck for you.

Give me Sektor, Cyrax and Sheeva anytime over Smoke, human scorpion clone or robot sektor/cyrax clone.

You’re right we don’t know anything really about Sektors human life before he was turned into a cyborg. But that’s what makes Sektor such a great villain to me, we know so little about his human life that he practically isn't human. He’s just a irrational, psychotic, walking tank with next no human qualities left in him, which I think actually makes him a pretty scary villain and again a great one. The less they show of Sektor as a human the better.

No, actually it's because I love the early fighters that this game will be (mostly) awesome for me. I just don't like MK3. If they give Sheeva and Stryker the same (or probably better) attention as they did to Sektor and Cyrax, maybe they'll actually be likable this time around. I don't have my hopes too high though.

And clone is not the right word to use regarding this game. None of the characters are gonna be clones any more than Scorpion, Sub Zero and Reptile are. I'm sure Smoke will have his own moves. He may have some kind of spear, since that was iconic to him in 2 and 3, but he's certainly not going to be a straight clone of Scorpion.

I find it funny that some people are so close-minded, and it's humorous that those people call characters like Smoke clones, yet they'd been around longer than Cyrax and Sektor, when they, too were clones of one another. Smoke had a different moveset in MK3, because - As you know, Scorpion was absent, and he had invisibility, along with other things. He's by no means a clone.

Also, you like Noob? Noob was the same as Scorpion in MK2, and he was a blacked out Kano in MK3 with an unoriginal move set. Come on now, you're just being prejudicial toward Smoke because, let's be honest, he's probably going to be much more developed in this new game than Cyrax will.

So, let's just put it to the side here, and just settle on "You don't like Smoke." because calling him a Clone is a thing of the past and no one is a clone anymore of anyone.

Pink and Purple are two colours that a very much alike, yet Mileena and Sindel aren't anything like eachother. I'm sure Smoke will be very different from the other ninjas this time around.

I know, but Noob and Smoke is just like water and water, they are too much a-like. Both mysterious, both same-kinda colours, both into the sub-zero storyline.

I see sub-zero as a cold hearted assassin, good or evil, I think he doesn't need friends.



And if smokes cyborg he looks too much like the perfect couple killers cyrax and sektor, two cyborgs is perfect, three is too much, also that smoke-elemental looked so extremly horrible stupid that i'm gonna ignore him if he looks like that again.

The ninja version is a ninja too many and the cyborg version is a cyborg too many..

Really Smoke can't suprise me at all, I will always dislike him.

I also hated Noob from MK2 and mk3, (also in mk4 and beyond that) but the noob saibot from this game is really insane and cool, and unlike smoke I liked Noob Saibot in Trilogy (with that shadow run and his own unique moves and fatalities) that was something I wished returned and it did.

I never liked smoke, so I guess he will suck again, I don't like grey and smoking at all, I rather see a non-ninja Rain back and sheeva that is, I even want Kintaro and Motaro over Smoke, the only character I really don't care for from the MK1 till 3 period, so please just reveil Kabal or Baraka instead, even Stryker and Shang Tsung are better (we already seen them but again)

By that logic, who needs Sheeva? We have Goro.

There's no reason for you to hate smoke at all based on your argument.. He is a clone ninja who eventually got his own moveset down the line, just like reptile and noob. His just came a bit later. I for one cant wait to see smoke. I want to see his new moves and how his new design will impress us.

Its not the color swap days anymore (outside of DLC) so the ninjas will and do look and play very very different from each other. Just wait untill smoke (maybe rain) is revealed.
