Low self-esteem? You could not feel great hatred towards a video game character who does not have much information around to hate even. Yes, Smoke WAS as much a joke as Rain was. The key word there being WAS. He is no longer a joke character. Hell, if the team have developed Noob, Rain and Ermac into formidable characters then why not Smoke? It's not as if you can compare Smoke to say, Hornbuckle, who actually still IS a joke character. A reason to make him look better? Uhhh, it's 2011, the game contains aesthetic overhauls of all of the characters, why would Smoke not be given the same treatment... Btw the word "troll" origin isn't supposed to refer to the mytic creature but to a fishing style because you make others take the bait and then disrupt the comunity. It's just that as the word is the same, that the term is more asociated with the creature (hence popular comments like "trolls are coming" or "don't feed the troll").

What comes to other people, they have probably read the Community FAQ by now. The system does not function by your feelings. What comes to Bee Gees - Words "It's only words" reference, it was a rather poor reference when the context in the song is about love; e.g. "I love you" is only words, but actions are a different thing.

That is not true. I for one have nothing against those characters and I have never stated that they would be hopeless. In NetherRealm Studios' hands they surely are not. That was again uncalled for. Seems like you have an affinity for the Strawman Tactic... and a very expressive dislike of the character Smoke.

1.) The strawman tactic can get intermingled with flaming. When you attack the user for their views (in this instance, "their view" would be that they/we like Smoke for whatever reasons) instead of addressing points in the argument, you essentially bait flaming. Based on how your stance in this thread switched around a couple of times, I think you know what you're doing quite well.

I'm not going to hit you too hard for it right now (yes, you got a skull or two in here depending on what you said) but, you should seriously consider opting out of doing this in the future. It's not my "job" here to stop you from getting yourself in trouble. *shrugs*

2.) Disliking Smoke and speaking out about it is not a crime. But yes, Milaana, you should stop baiting people with the fact that you don't like Smoke. Antagonizing people about their favorite characters isn't a desirable quality in a fellow forum sister/brother.
