I sound damn logical. Somebody already made this comparison on here, but compare MK to SF and how the developers treated the fans and the quality of their games, yeah, it's pretty different.

I feel like I'm the only one who sees this. Wasn't anybody dissapointed with the past 5 games the MK games given us?? ALL of them were incomplete!! Each and every one had broken mechanics and glitches where the team just admitted...oh yeah we were gonna do something with that but didn't have time. From konquest, to MKSM, right down to the goddamn gameplay they've force fed us half ass shit for years. Midway was hemorrhaging money all those years so that served as a pretty good excuse, but now they don't have that excuse for half ass shit like this.

Well, as long as they get some decent content up, I'll be okay.

I doubt their web designers have anything to do with the game, so making that comparison by saying "the game is gonna suck because the timer didn't work properly", is pretty silly.

But, yea, this was very disappointing, two mindfucks with the timer and all. But as long as the content comes within a day, no real harm done.

This is most likely, as probably no developers from Netherrealm were involved in creating the web site and external web designers were given the job.

So I may have unfairly blasted the MK team earlier, but I have a lot of pent up MK frustration that just suddenly came out.

But still WB....wtf

If that was it then shame on the MKteam and WB for having a countdown that led to almost nothing.

If it's just a technical issue then it was to be expected. Sites can't handle all the people at once. I've seen it happen with many other sites.

I agree, they have been giving halfass shit for years, but us idiots keep slopping it all up. I been trying to tell ppl that but they get so caught up in the moment when a tad of new info comes out and get side tracked. I think it's time to say FU-MK furious

That's funny, 'cause I'm the opposite. A few years back I was mega unhappy with the franchise, but at some point I became weirdly accepting of all the faults.

I'm well aware of the things that can go wrong. People need to keep in mind the developers don't run the websites, so blaming Netherrealm Studios is misplaced blame. Not that I want to disparage the people who do run the website either. I simply meant they didn't seem very well prepared to me. First the countdown debacle and now this? Or maybe the developers are busy working on MK game AND the website to reduce labor cost. Which explains why the website is not complete yet.

A company's website is usually created by both multimedia and developers teams then tested by the quality assurance team. Unless, they gave all these tasks to one or two teams that are already working on the game along with the website that usually causes delays.

You do realize MK is owned by Warner Bros. now right? WB is made of money, they aren't going to "cut labor costs" by having Ed Boon being forced to make a website.
