Maybe they plan on announcing MK9 just before e3 such as today. Or maybe they are just all set and ready for e3. Either way...it's pretty much 99% confirmed there will be something going on very soon.

Stryker. My boy for sure. I have so much heart for this character. It's funny about this tweet. Hours earlier I tweeted Ed asking him if this concept could possibly make the game http://i50.tinypic.com/24bt79t.jpg And he posted that. My hopes seem to be coming along for this game.

If Stryker's in, I think it's safe to say everyone through MK3 will be in.

At the bottom of the pic, on the right side, you can see a Sketch of some MK characters.
I can't figure out all characters that are there, but I'm almost sure there's Kitana, Shang Tsung and Liu Kang.

The one stage that in my opinion tops all other stages is Hell AKA
Scorpions Lair. And I hope they keep it close to the original look to the stage. I want to see pillars of skeletons towering over the lava and maybe some of the sinking slowly into the lava like in MK Armageddon.
And a remix of the the original UMK3 Stage music from Pit 3, The Balcony and Scorpions lair. Pending on how they remix it depends. I didn't really like the Subway remix much for Armageddon. Heck I'd be satisfied if they kept the music the same.

And about Scorpion:
One thing I want to see on Scorpion is the costume he wears in MK Trilogy or UMK3 and the mask you see him wear when you beat the MK Trilogy game. I love seeing the teeth engraved in the mask like the face of a \skull. one other thing is the small axe he pulls out for a split second as he does a combo. Looking at him fight his opponent (Sub-Zero for example) Not even letting him get the chance to breath then finishing him ether by uppercutting him into the lava in the background or pulling off his mask and burning him to the bone then crumble to ground like hot coals.

I like throwing in every little detail. It's just so I can get at least some of what I want.

Is anyone down for setting up a human reptile twitter team? maybe if we keep asking for it, we can get it as a potential alternate....

Ed commented on his page, in reply to someone, saying there won't be a run button in MK9. And I"m okay with that.

Ed has stated today that the new MK probably won't be showcased at ComicCon. So it might be a while still before any new info is given out.
