This. Seriously. 90% of the threads that are made as of recently are just rehashed topics with a few new words. Everything's talked out.

Plus, I don't know about the rest of you, but it's been a LONG time since coming to this site was actually FUN for me. I think we're entitled to a little genuine good humor once in a while.

Fun for who? It isn't up to you to decide what thread is good and what isn't. This was something that was actually taking place on Twitter. Think it's a stupid topic? You know what, no one forces you to post in it. Derailing threads is trolling, it isn't funny for those that wanted to discuss the topic and certainly not for the person who made the topic in the first place. If you have no grasp on these very simple matters, that is probably why you wouldn't make a good moderator. Moderators are supposed to uphold the rules of the site, not destroy threads from within because they deem them "stupid". It isn't anyone's place to decide what is "too dumb" to discuss so long as it isn't against the rules.

As I said, I'm sick of warning the same people over and over again. One of you I unbanned in good faith you had learned a lesson, but I can see that was a mistake. Having fun in a community shouldn't be about trolling and destroying other people's topics, it should be about having healthy discussion with one another. This isn't healthy discussion. If you want mindless banter or thread derailing, go to 4chan.

Sorry to the thread's author, but this has gone on long enough. I'm not going to keep issuing these nice little warnings and skull points. Since it is determined they are so useless, I'll be using more "useful" means in the future. Thread closed.
