Old definitely. But it would be cool to have him switch in and out of old and young versions as well as all of the combatants like in the first MK.

Both will most likely be in. But for young shang, they should definitely have his MK3 look. That was my favorite!

well we already know that tsung is going to be old (at leaste for a while) dont forget it was after the first tourny that kahn gave him his youth i seem to remember. so it would be cool to see hime old till the end of the MK1 part then get young and keep it that way from stealing souls.

I always thought he looked like he was rocking the Alice Cooper look in MK3. It just seemed a little silly to me.

I can't help but picture him in front of a vanity mirror putting the finishing touches on his make-up while Kahn in out front in the car honking and yelling at him to hurry the hell up.

His MKII look is my fav but I know he won't look like that in the game, maybe as a DLC costume though.

Primary should be a new costume, but around the age he was in MK Deadly alliance, second should resemble his MK2 Costume but an updated version, and DLC should be his classic retro 1992 Mortal Kombat one, no updates, no strings attached.

whats with the hate on the face paint on him in MK3 that was him showing his loyalty to outworld. remember that is the out world paint

I like his armageddon look, that really eyed like a sorceror, that strange old man from 1 looks more like an endboss and the shang tsungs from 2 and 3 aren't really special and sorceror looking eighter... I hope they take his model from armageddon, it looks fine and give me the most shang tsung impression.

When i first fought againest him, I thought I can Kick his ass, Then the guy was Floating, moving fast, starting Changing into Character, then change into Goro. He was so fucking hard in Mk1. His MK1 look was So Evil!


i honestly think he look real Stupid on the other Mk games,. I want old, evil, crusty, Floating ,Character Shifting, Shang Tsung back!

I would love to see a transition occur in Story Mode where you start as old man Shang, but then as the stroy progresess you get the change from old to young, possibly at the start of MK2, unlocking his young version alternate costume.

Shang Tsung definately needs his MK3 Fatalties. IMO, they were the better out of all the games he was in.

Can't wait to see his Soul Steal fatality with a twist, and hopefully his Spike Implant fatality with a twist.

I'd also like to see him float!!!! That would be AWESOME

Wouldn't it be wise for the MK team to make alternate costumes that help in the storyline.

So

Jax without steel arms - Alternate costume adds the steel arms so the story-mode could use this.

Shang Tsung is first an old man then a younger variety to suit the storyline.

In the roster you will have old tsung and steel-less jax first and you can unlock those other alternate costumes in the crypt.

Old because we haven't seen in it in a long long time but I wouldn't mind both. The younger version as an alternate outfit maybe.
