The one that, like I said, looked like a remake of the Pit II, so it makes sense when their next remake of the Pit II also has meteors?

Yeah, that's the thing. When it comes to these type of scenarios, one doesn't know what the developers are trying to achieve, unless they are explicit. Since you have to factor in if they know how meteors and volcanic rocks should look when coming down from the sky. As well as what direction they should be falling in, etc.

oh shit i put in my preorder code and raiden fatality is NICE nothing like ermacs at all it kinda reminds you of sub zero's second deception fatality only more brutal...its dope

The pit with meteors is awesome, btw retards does it matter how the fall or why? Its for the effect, jeezuz

This kind of goes to show how underwhelming this video was, over half of the comments have been about the arenas and not the character that was the focus of the video lol. Again as a HUGE RAIDEN FAN I was really let down :( weak projectiles, awful sound effects and that fatality looks nothing like the art work, at least the art had tesla coils coming out, the real thing is just slightly fuzzier balls shooting off the arms and legs.

I would be willing to agree if the volcano weren't also spewing out the very same effect in the very same shot. I don't think NRS expects people to automatically associate this with a stage from MKA any more than they expect people to go "hey look! A volcano erupting! Those flaming rocks falling from the sky must have nothing to do with the volcanic eruption whatsoever!"

The body jiggling at the end of the fatality made me giggle. The limb cut part is pretty meh, but I love how he slams the guy head first into the ground.

This is the kind of post that makes forums annoying to visit. Instead of having something constructive to say you just try to be sarcastic and attack someone who offered an opinion. What I said was true, you can't say it wouldn't look better if he was actually using lightning instead of some stupid glowing ball and you can't tell me you are happy with a 30 year old laser gun sound effect. If you say that you probably won't be being honest.

The fatality looks much better than I was expecting - though still not terrific. What is terrific though is the Pit II during the day. Wow!
