I'm a bit confused about the powers that Scarlet possesses. Since she's made of the blood of fallen warriors, uses her own blood to hurt people and to somewhat teleport... Umm, since I like to think out of the box with characters at time... Could this character ever be killed if it's not really hurting her when she stabs herself or is there a way to defeat something like this?

I guess you can also turn around and ask if Ermac can be killed too since he possesses souls.

Umm...you could toss her in lava.

It worked on the T-1000.
Ermac at least has a solid body that contains the souls he's made of and it can be wounded, he can't fight by cutting off and throwing chunks of himself at you.

i'm pretty sure she could be beaten/killed by being frozen kinda like in t2 when the liquid terminator was frozen. it would most likly be frost or sub - zero to do it. plus i think fire characters like scorpion, lui kang, shang tsung could potentialy melt her with fire moves.

Well, Skarlet hurts itself whenever she throws a blood ball, so I guess bleeding does affect her, as long as the blood doesn't return to her allowing her to regenerate.

Same with Ermac, he claims to be in his "regeneration process" during MK9's Story Mode, so I guess he uses souls as fuel for magic, and they're not an unlimited supply but a resource he needs to periodically reload.

Good question ha :)

I allways thought similar things about havik who breaks his own knees and neck to regain health!

As for Skarlette I don't think her own blood regenerates her but the blood of others.

There's lots of characters who could be basically unkillable because of what their bodies are made of.

For instance, why does Noob Saibot have X-Ray-able bones and organs? His true form is liquid like Skarlet, but even more than that, the liquid is actually darkness magically granted mass.

If Sub-Zero can teleport by turning himself into ice and shattering/reforming elsewhere, then couldn't he survive any injury, even completely exploding, by reforming himself from a billion droplets or snowflakes? Iceman of the X-Men can do that shit.

Sektor turns into zeroes and ones. His intelligence is digital code. What's stopping him from uploading a copy of his brain onto the internet, torrenting himself into every computer in the world, and becoming fucking Skynet?
This next one'll blow your mind like a fuckin' zen riddle:
What would happen to Smoke if there was a strong breeze mid-teleport?
Seriously, is he just fuckin' dead the moment the wind picks up? How far can he spread out when he's made of goddamn wispy clouds? What if he tried to turn solid again, you've got a hand over here, some ribs over there, his head's ten feet down the road and his foot's up in a tree...it'd be a mess!

But see, that's the weird thing about her. She can throw a bolt of blood at her opponents and it drains her life.

But she can also stab herself and transform in a puddle of blood, which I doubt is hurting her.

I'm not really taking this into a very serious account, it's just a thought that came up in my head after drawing her in a sketch. I can't see this thing dying unless it's in the way you guys have mentioned it. I

In Ermac's case, I just brought it up since he's possessed with various souls. Of course he can't throw souls at you, that wouldn't make sense. Though someone said that he's in his regenerated process, so there's that answer.

Though it's just a weird thing with Scarlet. Using your own blood in offense, could it actually kill her by over using it, does she ever regain by being something like a vampire and restoring her health, or is there some kind of magical explanation?

Of course there are those characters. Thinking out of the box is a lot of fun when you do it more often.

Just like how I remember asking the question, do Edenians and Jax posses more power than we think? Such as how they have the ability to use some sort of magical kiss to kill their opponents in gruesome ways, rather than just relying on weapons and teleports
(Even though Sindel has firebolts and magical hair, still). Jax can magically become a giant. So obviously, he obtains more power than we think.

Scarlet possesses powers that are to make us believe that she can be more powerful and possibly unkillable if she were to regain health and such from blood. Other characters possesses powers that also makes us believe that they're indestructible.

Like I said, thinking outside the box at times are fun.

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Though please understand that the whole Jax theory is just utter sarcasm, we know that he's not that magical.

I assumed she would just soak in someone else's blood to renew herself.

Sidenote: I always wondered how Sektor could travel through binary code.

I imagine it's sorta like how the transporters in Star Trek work. Each molecule of the body is broken apart, interpreted by his internal computer as a complex set of data, sent over a wireless signal, and reassembled at the destination.

I think if it bleeds it can be killed. She's made of the blood of many but could probably be drained. The possibility that the blood would just give her physical form. I dunno about this one. I also think there exists a way to destroy blood. How? Well... I gotta go.

Haha, and maybe Cyrax will become Miles Dyson.

Also, I think they went a bit overboard with the whole blood power thing for Skarlett, it's a bit much with every move and fatality involving blood. She's pretty much Nitara without wings.

@ Icebaby

I think a vampire could feed of all the blood that Skarlet is made of as a possible way to destroy her. Unless she's made of an unlimited amount of the substance? That i dunno.

With the lack of blood, Skarlet would slowly die and I think the same principle works for Ermac. It's kinda the same case with Shang Tsung - the less soul power he has, the weaker he gets.
