Yeah this probably is in the the wrong forum unless your saying shadow priests should be playabe in the new MK.

But if they gave em some good moves, updated costume, it could work.

Shadow Priests are weak. Didn't you see the intro to MK:SM? They were owned up on.

Those weren't shadow priests those were shang's guards.

I doubt they will be in in any capacity other than the background of certian stages (like we seen the Temple)

Priests or Guards. I'd imagine the outcome would be the same. It'd be like saying, "Why don't all the Tarkatans enter Mortal Kombat?". Maybe if there was a High Priest character that is like leader of the Shadow Priests as Baraka is to the Tarkatans.

i always thought they messed up by not making reiko a shadow priest. but anyhoo, yeah, a shadow priest who secretly learned some, if not all, of shang's magic and became a fighter in mk9 would be cool with me.

I always took the leader of the Shadow Priests to be Shang Tsung. They worked for Kahn, after all.

Shang Tsung is canonically the head Shadow Priest, yes.

Might make an interesting alternate costume for him. You know at some point he has to have spent some time in those robes.

It was interesting playing as them in SM, with an AR MAX of course.
Their attacks were even mapped to buttons, so you could do their moves. Shame Smoke wasn't finished.

yeah the idea of shang tsung alternative custome being a shadow priest is a great idea

I'd love for one to be playable in the upcoming game. I've always envisioned their moves to be sporadic and very disorienting with their robe flowing as they move.

why shadow priests? what about masked gaurds? those guys where freaking sweet. I always wanted to play as one in MK. If there not in the new MK (which is probaly a DEF NO.) then i'll just play them and the shadow priest on MKP 5.1 lol.
