My favourite look was MK1. Old guy Shang FTW. Although, old Shang in MK9 is disappointing. He's all butch and muscular. I wanted frail, floating Shang. >_< For young Shang, I like his MKDA look the most.

Deadly Alliance. He looks bad in this game. In both forms, which is incredibly disappointing after waiting so long to play Old Shang.

i thought the mkda primary looked great too, but im gonna have to disagree with ur thought on his mk2 look, i thought it was pretty cool.

I never understood how Shang Tsung got so young, in MK1 he was a really old man, then in MK2 and 3 he's a young man again.

Anyways, MKDA Shang Tsung was my favorite look, he looked like a younger version of his MK1 look to me. Plus he's the only one I could pull off extended combos with in MKDA.

MKDA was his best, but I'm really looking forward to playing as old Shang Tsung.

MK2 was really cool, I never liked his MK3 appearance. MKDA though was when he came into his own. I was his time, IMO.

Old Shang though is iconic. We haven't seen it in action since MK1. I can't wait to see old shang do his thang!

I think his new 'Old Shang Tsung' look is his best. He looks like an old brittle version of himself, but at the same time looks like he could eff' somebody up. I do have to agree on his MK2 version, it was definately not spectacular at all.

Another vote here for Deadly Alliance. Looked spiffy.

I got into Mortal Kombat around the time Ultimate MK 3 came out. I miss his face paint.

Old Shang Tsung from MK1 has always been my favorite appearance of his. He looks menacing despite his old age, and his old age and robes set him apart from the other characters. I also liked how he floated while fighting, I wish that would come back.

MK2 Shang Tsung was a design that I hated at first, but it has grown on me. Definitely not one of my favorite costumes of his, but not bad. MK3 Shang Tsung was just awful in my opinion, easily my least favorite costume of his. The face paint was stupid, and so was the costume.

MKDA Shang Tsung looked great, probably my second favorite look. He looked older again, and he had a regal look to him. His alternate was pretty good too, definitely the best young Shang Tsung look.

DC's costume was basically a modified version of his MK3 costume. It looked better, but it still wasn't that great. His new costume for his younger form looks pretty good, and I'm glad that his old man appearance is finally back. I've been wanting to play as the Old man Shang Tsung for awhile. While I do miss the robe he had, his new costume looks pretty good nonetheless.

Shang steals souls to make himself younger. Otherwise, he ages unnaturally fast.

On topic, I liked his frail MK1 look best. The new one is good, I just wish he was more frail, kinda like Wang Jinrei. I also liked his MK2 look. He actually looked Asian, not like some kind of middle aged white guy, and fu man chu was awesome. Much better than his hillbilly goatee he got in later games.

On another note; can someone explain to me why Shang Tsung doesn't have white eyelids? It fuckin ruins the whole look for me. He does have them in his older form and thats what makes him look fuckin evil and shows you he is more than just an ordinary fighter. It adds to him being a sorcerer.

Is this taken away when Kahn restores his youth or what? Cause whatever the reason may be, it fuckin sucks.

Put old Shang's outfit on young Tsung, and I'll be happy. ^^

That one is so legit to me. The robes from the 3D games were pretty cool too. But this new old version is just legit

I never liked his mkda look. I thought his mk vs dc look was an improvement and now he looks even better imho.

MK1's old man or MK2 for me. I like his new oldman look, except he seems a bit too tough. I liked him frail...until he started floating and shooting flaming skulls.

He looks like a ninja sorcerer in this game and in MKvsDC, I don't get the rest and tight pants. He should be rocking some robes.
