It's from Virtua Fighter originally I think. It's kind of a generic ninja move though, most fighting games have a version of it.

Skarlet looks amazing but that alternate costume is HIDEOUS! Not because it "covers her up" but because there's just so much going on it's ridiculous. Couldn't they find a better way to "cover her up" without making her look like a Ninja Nun?

Her moves seem blah, but I'm guessing it's because she's unfinished.

Vega had that in Street Fighter II albeit it was just an air german suplex with no spinning. Hanzo and Galford had the spinning version in Samurai Shodown which came out before Virtua Fighter.

Anyway both costumes are pretty bad but the second one is infinitely worse. It's literally just two straps and some cloth... completely awful.



Just a reminder that people are paying real, actual money for costumes for their dumb lizard ninjas and ghost ninjas. Sometimes for more than they paid for the actual game. You could probably take Hsu Hao and stick him in a ninja outfit and he'd rocket up in fan popularity. I mean shit, one of the most popular characters was a guy who was literally just Scorpion but gray and with smoke rings.

i was just sayin' (bout the izuna drop). Mortal Kombat never had a ''sterotypical Flippy High-agility'' ninja type fighting style before (think Taki from SC or Ayane/Kasumi from DoA). She has lots of potential moveset wise, im pretty excited :D

I agree full heartedly with this young gentlemen, I only wish all MK fans could be as sophisticated as him. As anyone on a playground knows, blue ninja princesses are far superior to stupid little lizard ninja's and their grey ninja counter parts. Why the grey ninja didn't even have an identity of his own until they had enough memory to do so, bahahah! Oh how I enjoy mocking the ridiculous whims of the ignorant masses. More caviar good sir?
