I see what you mean with her "sci-fi" MK2011 primary, but, MKvsDC had something extra that made it feel even more futuristic, imo. I don't know what it is.

I would absolutely love this outfit.. if not for the shades. I dunno, they just don't work for me. Other than that though, I do think this is better than her primary. I think the Hess inspired design is a nice nod to the actress. Who knows, maybe once I get the game the shades will grow on me.

Unfortunately I couldn't tell what the Enhanced Kartwheel and Enhanced Arc Kick do differently. And I don't know if the Enhanced Kiss is simply chargeable or if it does something else (longer range or damage). And I was sad to realize the player skipped over the Dropkick and Enhanced Dropkick, I wanted to find out if they were Downward Bike Kicks.

P.S.: Methinks I saw an easy 3-hit pop-up combo I may have just found my follow-up to the stun.

no problem. sonya is not usually one of my mains (i know, blasphemy for you sonya fans) but this alt makes her look so badass and has me interested in learning more about her in mk9. plus i loved the images in her arcade ending. i know sonya has a huge following and sonya fans froth for ever scrap of info! right now im all about learning more about sindel in her alt and nightwolf in his alt. if i see anything more on sonya i will be sure to post.

Well the actual in game render looks better than the concept art, but I prefer her primary. The alt is not bad it just to me doesn't look right, or maybe it just needs time to grow on me.

Those big arms, those pilot glasses, the cap, the dog tags... She looks manly. Not that it's a bad thing or anything. I'm just sayin. Make the chest go in and the groin pop out and I'd let her fuck me.

The shades is one of the things that make this costume for me. She looks badass.

So, because this is relevant to this thread and because people have been asking for it:

I have to say that overall, this costume is much better than her primary. However, the aviator sunglasses don't fit her, and the cap is unnecessary for this kind of costume. This is supposed to be a more casual look for Sonya. I do think that the sunglasses idea that The_Truth has for her would be cool to see. However, it would probably work better for a more "futuristic" costume that queve would jump for joy about.

I can't say that I'm exactly fond of the whole "Lara Croft" theme, but I don't quite hate it either. I do think that her tank top should cover more like it did in MK: Annihilation. Yeah, I know there's the inevitable sex appeal, but it would be nice for the belly to be slightly shown at most as a kind of tease. Subtlety can be sexy too if it's done right.

I really wish that she would have a more realistic outfit like the one she wore in the first MK movie as her more formal, battle-ready costume. For this alternate costume, it's not great, but it's that bad overall. I can tolerate it enough, and it's going to be the one I use when I get the game.
