Does it really matter? Technically it wasn't the same move because Subby uses ice to teleport not smoke. Plus that move was super awesome and it was very helpful so why not have it? Their all Mortal Kombat characters so their bound to share some moves.

Don't forget Kitana also had her teleport special in MK Armageddon, not just in MKVSDCU. So I wouldn't be surprised if she still has it in MK9. Enough with the whole, OMG he stole this move, she stole this move!

i think the mk team can come up with alot of moves Sub-Zero. I always wondered, why sub never had that ice power move he had in the first mk movie where he creates this big ice globe? i think that would be a very nice super move in the video game. anyone else agree. oh, they should also bring back Scorps fire breath move from mk4

i too personally like the thombstone move subzero used in mk vs dc. but at the same time i didnt for the same reasons. its not a plausable move for him i can see rain jumping out of a puddle of water when they gave him as his teleportation move in armageddon but i dont see subzero rising from the ground. just didnt like it. so i hope it doesnt return.

now saving moves for lil sub im hoping he gets ice shaker from DA or the sort of unique slide he has when he shoulder slams into his apponent from DA-A. and i hope they give the ice clone and regular slide to his older brother. then again since (and im not trying to start this topic in this thread im just saying) one of the possibilties of this game is younger sub becomes the third cyborg and smoke stays human. im not even sure how ice powers would even factor in to his skill set. but we dont even know if that will happen.

I don't mind if characters share moves, but there has to be a an explanation. If said explanation exists, and the move functions differently than the other character's version, then I'm gravy.

I'm actually hoping Smoke has a trident. It doesn't have to be a stun move. It could be a command throw, projectile, or be used in the same manner as Sub's Kori blade.

you can't say that it's "technically" different because Sub-Zero's uses ice and Smoke's uses smoke.

That's like giving Sub-Zero the spear move used by Scorpion, but having it made out of wood. Technically it's different because Sub-Zero uses a wooden chain and Scorpion uses a metal chain.

Scorpion and Sub-Zero's "teleports" are nothing alike.
Scorpion's teleport attacks, while Sub-Zero is nothing but an evasive maneuver.
And I'm not gonna bother explaining how the animation is not the same either.

You talk about copying teleportation, but how about Scorpion setting himself on fire? You might as well bitch how he's ripping off Sub-Zero's "Ice Shaker" since it affects the opponent if they touch them.

I can care less if Sub-Zero has a "teleport" in this game, because I'll just simply won't use it unless he can Ice Clone afterwards like his MKvsDC Pro Move. If not, it's useless, like every other teleport a character has if you can't immediately attack afterwards.

go and play DOA or Tekken ,MK is about special energy attacks and super powers.

Almost everyone in MKvsDCU had a teleport. I doubt we'll be seeing it again in game play.
