It really is...and despite that and actually showing off the laser in the Bell Tower (against the army troops), that special still didn't make it as a regular move, enhanced attack, or even a Fatality.
What a shame. And how annoying.

Well I never noticed this at all, but Kano can be heard shooting his eye laser at Sonya Blade in Johnny's chapter of story mode.

Skip to around 4:25 and listen to the dialogue after Cage gets thrown off of the side of the pit. It's really cool.

Paulo Garcia said his style had no need of a flame thrower type move, and it was considered as a fatality.

Do not forget that Kratos can f***ing dash-cancel his counter after parrying a melee attack, allowing Kratos to counter with a combo of his choice while the opponent is still stunned from the parry! you can lose over 30% of health because of one parried attack!
Kratos' Golden Fleece is essentially Cyber Subby's Frozen Parry (EX Icy Counter) without any meter cost. In other words, Kratos' Golden Fleece is pretty much a revamped Johnny Cage X-Ray, trading the level of attacks that can be parried for the ability to counter projectiles, with the big advantage of not costing any meter.
We should probably be glad there aren't so many Kratos players (PS3 version), though I am one of the few people who know how to play as Kratos.

Really? Wow...that sucks (that it didn't become anything in the end).
Thanks for the heads up. Where did you hear that? Was it on his twitter?
