This feels like a dumb move on their part...

Yes, we've heard alot of buzz about Rain and Kenshi as DLC, but that's mainly because Boon NAMED them as DLC canidates A, and B, in Rain's case he got boosted interest as the only holdout from UMK3/MKT's roster. (Aside from Motaro, who we know has extenuating circumstances, and the Chameleon twins, who we know never had a prayer to begin with.)

Like me for example... I could give a crap about Rain. But he WAS the top want on my DLC list, just because I wanted to see the UMK3 roster rounded out. I supported his inclusion... but after tuesday, I doubt it I'll care about him much more in the longterm...

And I think Rain interest not just in me, but in general will probably die off significantly after his release.

I mean, I picked him in this poll, just because I dislike Kenshi.

That said, I still don't really LIKE Rain... had other characters been in the poll... there are LOADS of people I'd have picked over Rain...
and I'm definately not gonna buy the statue. If I were rich, I'd probably buy all of them, but I'm not so... I'd only be buying my favorite characters... at most. (And probably not even them frankly, I'm poor.)

That said, they do a series of statues that's Raiden, Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Rain...

And it doesn't take a rocket scientist to guess who ends up warming the shelves.

After the 15 guys in this thread who like Rain buy one (and I doubt all of you even would, frankly ) I... don't see his sales staying high.

Like I don't already have a $150 Chris Redfield and a $150 Iron Man from Hot Toys. If my all-time favorite MK character gets a freaking *statue* after so many years of neglect, I would *absolutely* buy one.

Do remember that some people here actually have jobs.

I hope not! Rain better come out on time and on both systems(I have PS3 so i'm not complaining)

I just want him to come out because I know they will announce the 4th dlc pretty soon afterwards. (or at least I hope they will)
