So amazon says you get the reptile costume just for pre ordering the regular version, what exclusive skin comes in the kollectors edition then? or is that just part of it?

Hmmm I'll probably get Khollectors AND Tournament editions... After Zelda this is my fav game series. I wonder if i preorder from GS for the Khollectors and pre-order from amazon for the Tournament, can I just get both skins because Reptile is looking better than he ever has there!

Reptile's classic costume is better then the MK 2011 reptile, scorpion and sub zero costume IMO.

and another plus one for the European fans who are missing out again.

I curious about the price for the Kollectors Edition. Is it going to be 80$? 90$? I hoping it's not to expensive because I wouldn't mind owning that version. Oh well, I guess it's time to play the waiting game.

So, is anyone else going to pre-order from all three retailers to get the exclusives, and then cancel for two of them?

... because I'm probably going to do that. I prefer human Reptile, I want Sub-Zero's spin rip, and Scorpion without his Toasty just isn't Scorpion.

I few things I noticed from one paragraph.

Mortal Kombat will feature Kratos as a playable character, as well as be in Stereoscopic 3-D exclusively in the PS3 version. The brutal warrior from the acclaimed God of War franchise will have his own customized move set, fatality, and fighting arena, available to all original purchasers when Mortal Kombat hits stores.

Mortal Kombat will feature Kratos as a playable character( dose not say PS3 only)

Stereoscopic 3-D exclusively in the PS3 version ( we all knew that)

fatality not Fatalities ( I hope its a typo )

Should we just expect Pallette swaps of this reptile outfit for Subby and Scorpion's classic outfits?

Your Kollector's Edition...is mine! Where to pre-order though....?
(So glad they don't have exclusive Pre-Order characters. I can live with missing a costume and fatality or two.)

Well I'm torn. I'd really like the classic Reptile skin but not Amazon.ca doesn't have it, only Amazon.com. Even then Amazon doesn't offer kollector's edition or tournament edition. Oh well, gonna wait a while before I make a decision.

That's crap that Amazon.ca doesn't have it, and only Amazon.com. Shit lol

"Mortal Kombat will feature Kratos as a playable character, as well as be in Stereoscopic 3-D exclusively in the PS3 version

It's saying that both of these things will be exclusive on the PS3
There is absolutely no chance that Kratos would appear on the 360.

And 'fatality'? Good. He shouldn't be in the game in the first place.

It doesn't work like that. When you pick up your pre-order is when you're able to get the card with the DLC code for exclusives. So cancelling wont work

But could you "return" the new copy of the game and keep the pre-order swag? Blast it, WB, for making me jump through hoops.

Ok. I'm a tad confused.

Does the Kollectors edition come with ALL of the classic costumes for each of the players? Is the only difference with the exclusives @ different retailers vs. the Kollectors edition, that it comes with original fatalities for only one specific character? Ex: Scorp, Sub, and Reptile?

I just want the edition that has all the classic costumes for all characters.

This just in:

Pre-order from Wal-Mart and you'll be able to use the punch buttons.

Pre-order from a country beginning with R and you'll be able to use Nightwolf as player 2.

Pre-order on a Tuesday and you'll get a special online tournament mode that lets you unlock a cool trophy.

Pre-order from eBay and you'll lose your money.

Stay tuned for more great ideas from the WB marketing department.

Well shit. I knew they were gonna pull this "preorder to get a bonus...oh but wait, there's three different stores with three different ones! Now you have to pick! BWAH HA HA HA HA" crap on us.

But I'm sure it'll be regular DLC eventually.

Anyway, I am underwhelmed by "Human Reptile". I don't mind the idea, I just think they could've put some more bells and whistles on these classic costumes instead of a straight-up recreation of what Dan Pesina wore in 1992.

I guess I'll preorder the middle edition from Gamestop since I want Toasty the most and don't like joysticks.

WTF! I honestly can't decide where to pre-order, or which copy to get?! Two questions I guess 1) does anyone know what brand fighting stick in the Tournament edition? 2) Does anyone also know if the Tournament edition also comes with the Sub & scorpion figures? I'd much rather them over an arcade stick.

I honestly can't decide which copy to get. I don't think I've ever had this hard of a time deciding which version of a game to get.

Awesome news!! I'm thinking of going with the Amazon preorder to get the Reptile kontent. When they showed Sub-Zero's classic spine rip on Gametrailers it was kind of lackluster. Hopefully more work has been done to the klassic fatalities to make them shine.
Really though, I would like to see all 3 fatalities before I make my desision, but I'm sure that won't happen. Gonna hold off preordering for a bit to see if Gamestop or Best Buy put out a render for their exclusive character skin.
Decisions, decisions, decisions.

This is purely a wild guess on my part, but I think the KE will come an exclusive Klassic Costume. I could be wrong, of course.

Damn! Lots of options...not really a fan of "store specific exclusives", but no doubt all of the stuff will be DLC eventually. Any word on the TE and KE prices?
