Jade: For my favorite lady of the cast I was expecting something just as stunning as her beautiful primary. I was extremely disappointed by this as it looks lacking around the arms. And last but not least, that goddamn Slave Leia hair is plain ugly on her. This would have looked nice if it were one of her MKD hairstyles.
Kitana: Despite what others say I think the ass cape bikini combo looks nice on her. But I will agree that she looks like she OD'd on botox. Mileenas Flesh Pits: Less is not more and definitely not worth getting. Ouan Chi: They Could have did A LOT more than just giving him a shirt.

worst alts are Noobs and Sub-Zeros as they are the same, and both unoriginal to boot. Fear Kratos was pretty lazy too was hoping for god armor. Kano, Jax and Quan Chi could have been better to, besides that i think they are awesome

Skarlet's Alt: I'm a little offput by the fact she looks like somewhat like retro Ermac with breasts. But this costume has pants AND IT IS GLORIOUS!

Nightwolf's alt is ugly as hell.

Both Jade and Kitana's primary and alt suck, the retro is the only way to go for them.

I was hoping Stryker's alt would be the same as his primary, but with the hat on backwards lol.

Reptile's primary is bleh, his alt is sweet.

Scorpion's alt is kind of boring too.

Jax's alt is meh.

Sonya's alt is WAY better than her primary.

Kunglaos, Luikangs ,jade and kitana

Ermac, but I also didn't like Reptiles alt at all!

Bad:

Sub-Zero's alt, Bi-Han sucks at looking cool.

Noob Saibot's alt is the same boring shit as Bi-Han's.

Kung Lao's is freaking lame, almost the same as his primary and twice as boring.

Mileena's 3rd: I suffered through 300 challenges for this shit!? Boon troll.

Good:

Scorpion's Alt gets rid of all the damned leather and gets swords that look like two mini Mugai Ryu.

Nightwolf actually looks like a Shaman!

Ermac's reminds of Judgement armor from WoW. (his mask)

Reptile's gives me a MKSM vibe.

Kitana's alternate is amazing, you guys are too picky. The only thing that has room for change is her sailor moon boots, but those even look okay, but longer ones would look better.

All the characters got really good primary and alternate costumes. They are all new and fresh, but also very reminiscent of their classic costumes as well.

Too picky?! We're too picky because we don't want a revolting outfit and a pretty crappy rendering of her face? Doesn't seem picky in the slightest....


I'm not a fan of the alternates that look too similar. "Alternate" should be radically different, or at least noticeably.

Noob's "sub zero" palette swap was lame..... In fact, the sub-zero alternate in general is pretty lame. It's cool in and of itself, but when you've also got the Sub-Zero main it's just... meh.

Kitana's awful second... though her hair is great, the rest just fails. I like the idea of "fan inspired" clothing, but the top is ugly, it doesn't flow nicely into the bottom. The cowboy boots look stupid and the sleeves were animated HORRIBLY. And her face was soooo not what I was expecting.

Jade's alternate was just so... meh. Nothing exciting about it at all and the hair just looked cheesy.

Quan's I don't even remember, that's how little an impact it had.

I think because its a black and red, kinda baggy, v-chested thing it can look similar. In the two images its obvious but while playing the game I don't really notice much different between the two (minus the hood of course)

Opinions Opinions. IMO, Kitana's alternate is perfect for her, like I said the boots should be above her knees, but thats really the only thing, they still look okay short. Her face is actually really good in this game, Go to the krypt or whereever and look at her alternate character bio. Her face only looks bad in her fight intro because she is mean mugging the opponent when she says "You will learn respect!"

I think they did a really good job with her face, especially compared to the disastrous ones from MKGold MKDA and MKSM.

Another thing, I dont like how Kitana's hair in her alternate is much longer than her primary. Her primary hair is only down to her butt, the alternate hair is almost to her knees. Same with Jade's hair, its much longer in her alternate than in her primary.

For Reptile, I actually like the fact he's a lizard; frankly I don't want him to be a human ninja. It's just his face is goofy without the mask. He looks almost cuddly. They should've made him look more threatening. Ah well, guess I'll just go with the weight loss fatality to avoid seeing his face.

Scorpion's alt is rather bad. It's just too complex in my opinion; he looks goofy as hell.

Smoke's primary bugs me. His hair makes me laugh.

Mileena's flesh pits costume is annoying. The reward you get for beating the challenge tower is Mileena with strategically placed bandages. Wow. They were hyping winning the tower as unlocking something cool, and we get half-dressed mummy Mileena.

I just wish Kabals Alt was his non burned police form.

I like Kitana's alt, and I think she's really pretty. There are some angles where it's not that great, but all the characters have that problem. I really all the alts, I haven't seen one I don't like yet. I think Sheeva's alt is better than her main... EDIT wait, if I had to choose, I would have to go with Sonya's alt. It's alright, nothing amazing.

I agree with everyone when they say Kitana is ugly in her alternate.

I strongly disagree with OP's dislike of Ermac and Reptile's alts.

I am judging a broken model because....that's the only one that I've seen so far. But even beyond the geometrics, the overall design is just unappealing to me. It might have something to do with all those clothes on an MK female, I'm not sure...
