Who won Armageddon and where is...? *SPOILER

Given the amount of Ass kicked by Shao Kahn in the Armageddon intro, It would not suprise me if he killed Blaze.
But I'm going to assume Taven did, and then got killed by Kahn.

I certainly wouldn't mourn his death, he was an astoundingly boring character

Oh like he couldn't just hammer Onaga in the face and walk back.
Or climb up on him and use him like a hang glider, make him crash into the pyramid, lol.

God I hope it was the 2nd one, that is so boss.
Daegon wasn't killed by Taven at the end, just beaten.
As for the intro it doesn't state what happened at all. It seems like raiden and kahn were the last two left, with kahn seeming to have absorbed blazes power. The intro for armageddon wasn't canon, it just to set the mood.
And the last body on the stairs was shujinko.

That bothered me too, but I just ignored it and assumed something else happened between them.

Im not liking the intro as much as I thought I would. I would ahve preferred to see more of the action.
Also I thought I seen Li Mei impaled on something in the abckground somewhere (looked like ther in her Armour costume like we seen her gettin impaled in the MKA intro) and Shujinko at top of the pyramid somewhere.

I don't know, did they wipe Taeven and Daegon off the canon?
But looks like Kahn defeated Blaze and gained massive power, since he's seen on top the pyramid and all glowing like a God...
Anyway, after watching that intro, I support Raiden's decision in attempting to alter time... I mean look at that scene, everybody dead (Except for Scorpion: he's just taking a nap)

I doubt that Taven and Daegon are wiped from existence, Taven didn't even awake until MKA, and we saw nothing at all to suggest the Red Dragon were gone. Unless this is Earthrealm-2 and they're just not there period, lol.

They're not erased from canon, Raiden even sees his Dark self fighting Taven as one of his memory-visions.

There are basically two theories bumping around right now, that I've seen...
One is Taven killed Blaze and supercharged all the kombatants. As per Taven's ending. This allowed Kahn to get the better of Onaga, return to the pyramid rested, and get the upper hand on all remaining, not already dead kombatants, who had (in theory) been battling non-stop and taken far more bumps than Kahn. And were more exhausted by battle maybe? Iunno...
Other is, Kahn merely beat all other Kombatants and Blaze on his own, and what we see is the end result of that. Kahn is supercharged from killing Blaze and winning his power.
They both have their pros and cons... upsides and downsides. And they're both speculation, neither is confirmed (that I'm aware of). If one nitpicks, there are ways to dispute and support both.
I personally like the first one better because it doesn't contradict Armageddon's Konquest story or diminish Taven's role as the protagonist.

True dat. That's my main argument: if Kahn wins, Taven becomes much less important.
Do keep in mind that I am a fan of MK:DA-MK:A, so I actually care about those characters.

Everyone is putting way to much thought into this. MK is known for including canon and non canon events in the games (BASED ON THIS NEW GAME!!) Konquest mode ending was NOT canon Taven DID NOT WIN its not hard to understand. SHAO KAHN WAS THE LAST PERSON STANDING AFTER THE BATTLE MEANING HE WON SIMPLE AS THAT!! and his Armageddon ending is CANON... HE REALY DID CONQUER ALL THE REALMS. This is what Raiden is now trying to prevent by contacting his PAST self. Hence we have MK9 simple
