I'm don't really care for Smoke either, but I think it would be neat if Sub-Zero managed to free him during construction instead of programming. Picture Darth Vader sans helmet, if you will. I think we have enough ninjas and 2 full cyborgs are more than enough for me. So something in between might be a nice touch.

Yes I would prefer him HALF-Robot aswel, because another human ninja would spoil the much a-like NOob Saibot and a cyborg would spoil the cool brothership of Sektor and Cyrax.

Smoke is really a nail in my bootie... I really don't like smoke only if he's half cyborg looking really diffferent from both the ninjas and from sektor and cyrax.

If not I really hope they leave him out of the game and just give him cameo's.

Theres only Sheeva Kabal and Smoke to be shown am sure one of them will be kept till the game is released most likely it will be Quan Chi... we know hes in Because the sound leaks and that he can turn opponents into zombies for a few seconds

and we know Rain is a DLC

Also i think Skarlet will be kept till the games released too

I think that main reason that I loved the character designs in MK:SM more than almost any other version of the character is that they kept an aspect of each character's iconic design and didn't do anything crazy insane with it.

Except with Reptile, but he still looked good.

I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't touched him yet. Hopefully they're debating the pros and cons with both versions and what plans they can come up for him either way.

I don't like the color gray, I think he's the ninja that's too many, and I don't like smoke powers and I hate smoking.

Smoke is that character that I never really cared for, at least noob saibot I loved in Triology. I hated him in MK2, and I also didn't liked the smoke/noob team-up shit, in armageddon they spoiled Noob Saibot aswel... and Smokes look got somewhat better but still horrible.

Smoke doesn't have Smoke powers. He has yoink powers.

Specifically, the ability to steal the moves of more popular characters.

They could, but under the influence of WB MK will NEVER give us the whole roster until they remember that the release date for MK9 is april 19th. I think they have forgotten when the game is being released. Honestly... They should wake up some time soon.

I think grey/silver and black is a very nice contrast, personally; I actually find Smoke the most visually striking of the ninjas. For a ninja/assassin, it feels a tad more authentic than yellow/blue/purple. Only Noob has it right though.

True, and I also want to add that Smoke got the teleport at the exact same time as Sektor (and given that Smoke solely has nano-technology, it makes a lot more sense for him to have it anyway).

I really hope we only have one Smoke. Human or Cyborg don't matter... But he don't need 2 slots in the roster if it is one and the same person.

Either make him full human or full cyborg. Hell I don't even need the other version as DLC if it won't be canon.

I don't blame Smoke for his old school recycled moveset.

Edit: It's funny that when I made that comic, I was making a joke about Smoke stealing moves from every fighter, not just Scorpion and Sektor, but in actuality it was SHUJINKO who ended up being the real "Smoke" in this case.

No, it really doesn't. If Sektor had the move in a previous game, you might have a point, but from a development perspective, they still received the move at the same time. This whole "but people were able to play as Sektor first" is a non sequitur argument that doesn't really mean anything.

Still its a fact that Smoke was the last character from the Mk1,2 and 3 days that got his own moveset...
