I think that main reason that I loved the character designs in MK:SM more than almost any other version of the character is that they kept an aspect of each character's iconic design and didn't do anything crazy insane with it.

Except with Reptile, but he still looked good.

Gotta love Reptile's design evolution.

And now he looks like a bird... I hoped they would bring him back as human and completely get rid of the shit... I loved how he put off his mask to show his reptile head back then...

Reptile moves are still great but they completely dissapoint me in terms of look

I can't believe people actually enjoyed the human scorpion and sub-zero clone reptile of the early days... I hated that reptile, I'm glad they changed him into a less human character.

Anyway Scorpion already hides his skul face, why would we want two such characters?

I hope his alternative is an even more lizardman like creature, and not some human ninja boring dweep, people who want that boring crap can download the old model anyway.

He can cloak himself by turning invisible anyway, so he doesn't need that human disquise, his voice would give him away pretty easy.

Smoke is absolutely going to be in this game. He's fully established as a character with a small but rabid fanbase. Plus he was in both MKII and MK3 so he gets damn near guaranteed entry.

Human Smoke and Robo-Smoke should both be in
and just play differently
The game takes place over the course of the first three games, technically carrying over various incarnations of characters throughout the series.
Which explains the slew of "LOL KLASSIC KOSTUMES"
so any look from the first 3 is a viable candidate.
and since Human and Robo have always played differently and were both in Trilogy it's viable for Smoke to have both forms.

Cuz human Smoke NEVER had moves on his own!

And yeah than please give me a second slot for Classic Sub Zero! They had some difference in their gameplay as well

GLadly I know this ain't gonna happen at all, this is just a wetdream of smoke-fanboys, but there are more other-character fanboys gladly. I'm sure it will be an alternate costume-thing.

And why I love the female ninja's? Well I love the fact that they all got different this time around, not some clones from eachother from the early days, I know why they looked the same in these days, but i'm glad that low memory days are over.

So no more human reptile, there are enough other human-looking ninjas for you to pick from. Why you like Reptile anyway? When he resembles a fucking human and not a reptile?

Oh, I know. But the argument now is whether he should be in the game. The clear answer is "yes" but some people aren't convinced yet.

Good for Human smoke that he got his own moves, but two smokes in the same roster will always stay a wet-dream for you smoke-fannies. grin But maybe they should put in two smokes, call one smoke the other blow.

You don't get it... But having 1 character taking 2 fucking slots if only one is canon at the end is stupid shit. Make it one of it an alternate costume and it is OK.

But saying Robo played different is stupid cuz Human never had his own moves. Now they could make moves for him which would fit both versions.

Or do you want to see Unarmed Jax taking a slot on his own. Maybe even Classic Sub or Human Sub, cuz they had slightly different moves as well.
I would love to see Smoke revealed in same manners as Noob, but I think we should see the other characters that were revelled sometime ago first

You do remember that time Ed Boon asked us which characters we wanted for DLC, and a crap load of people said Cyber Smoke, right?

Honestly, I see as many Smoke fans up and around as I do for a good deal of the major characters. I'd say he's one of the most popular B-listers out there.

Again, all smoke-fannies.

And next to Rain and Tanya that list was just horrible extremo... Kenshi? Shinnock? No thanks...

Anyway Smoke alternative as DLC is a good idea, in that way he keeps his smokey lungs and breath out of my perfect smoke-free-zone -roster.

I would much rather see Kabal. Unless they've done something drastic with Smoke, then I don't think I'll be very impressed by his looks or gameplay. I hope I will get positively surprised though.

However, I hope to see Kabal or Sheeva next.

You do realize that you can't actually get lung cancer from being in a match with Smoke in a video game, right?

My hopes are up for Baraka, Kabal and better screens/video's for Shang Tsung.

Raiden and Sheeva would be sweet too.

Set up your own DLC poll and see how many votes unarmed Jax gets over Tanya and Shinnok. Though it's silly to compare Jax's lack of bionic arms to Smoke's lack of skin, bodily organs, red blood cells, and the inclusion of lethal internal machinery.

Yeah right. Now that would be a letdown. Surprise, really? We have never had the real Human Smoke playable in 3d so far, so it makes perfect sense to make him finally playable. Cyborg Smoke in the other hand, along with the fog form, have been in MKD, MKU and MKA. Bezou's theory was fairly formidable though there is still a chance they will leave one or two individuals as secrets.

I personally can't wait to see Human Smoke back, hopefully he will become as stunning as his wingman just did. Reasons why it should be specifically Human Smoke, this time, I brought some HS Reflections intel in here.

-Younger Sub-Zero's best friend

-Finally human for a change due to time traveling

-Classic and mysterious secret character from the most iconic Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II

-Human Smoke has never really been turn over yet unlike the MK1 secret character Reptile has been.

-This poll held in Midway Boards beckons that Human Smoke should make it; out of his all three forms Human got 4/5 of all the votes. Massive demand.

-Story-wise this is the only possible chance for Human Smoke to make it because at the time of the storyline Smoke was about to be turned into a cyborg for life.

-Cyborg Smoke is the only cyborg who doesn't have any particularly cyborg moves. That said Smoke is better as human.

-There must be more fighters in the Forces of Light this time around if Raiden is to win Shao Kahn. Besides, Human Smoke has more depth compared to the latest incarnations; Fog Smoke was only a simple underling for Noob.

-The change of Smoke into Fog Smoke clearly indicates that the developers tried to turn Smoke back into his human form. It failed, but now there is a solid chance to fix that.

-Let's face it, Smoke will probably be in the game - but why to make him worse than what he would potentially be?

-This Mortal Kombat is said to have lots of secrets.

-NRS has told us that one former cyborg may remain human this time and vice versa. Considering that there were only three whole cyborgs (plus Kabal and Jax relying on technology), Smoke should now come back as human once and for all.

-Noob-Smoke Tag Team can be back!

IT WOULD BE STILL THE SAME CHARACTER... Is it that hard to understand. Human Sub from 3 played different than Classic Sub. Do we need to make for HUMAN Sub an entire slot and fighting style?

No. Cuz it is shit.

Maybe we will all the rosters with Human, Cyborg and Demon/Nano Smoke teamed up with Noob.

So the fans would have 3.

It's just stupid to wish for two and the same characters to be in the roster, really stupid.

That's like asking for MK1 Sonya, Mk3 SOnya, mk4 sonya and so on to be in the game all togheter because they looked different and because they played different.

But it really ain't gonna happen, I just can't understand why people even want it...

If Mileena had two different costumes like Smoke has than I wouldn't even want them both into the game, just a roster full of original characters and not copies that play or look different, thats when ALTERNATE COSTUMES drop in.
