Cage is my favourite MK character.

I don't hate him at all. In my top 10 for sure!

I found it kind of interesting that Johnny Cage and Goro were wiped out of MK/DC's existence. I guess you can only have "so much Cage" at a time.

After MK9, I'm not sure there's anyone who DOESN'T like Johnny Cage.

I didn't really care much for Johnny Cage back then. He has potential to become a great character. The big problem with him is that in the games, he doesn't have proper development. Sure, he steps up in MK: Armageddon, but there's no real development into that point, and it comes off as being way too late. I mean, he started off in the first game, so there should have been two arcs with him. He's much better as a character in the first movie, because we get development within the story of the movie itself to where Johnny Cage steps up and takes matters into his own hands after really taking things seriously.

Right now, I have warmed up to Johnny Cage as a character, but he has a long way to go. As much as I hate the new timeline, at least he has a chance to properly develop.

I like Johnny Cage. Especially his cocky attitude. I was suprised he was one of the survivors this time around.

On another note why is this revived?

I don't hate Cage at all and I love him in the new game. He is so far the only fighter I can go from start to finish on the hardest difficult level and get a Babality on Shao Kahn. LOL. His Babality / Friendship mix is pretty hillarious too and when he turns you into a baby: "Don't Hate" gotta love that quote. I've always liked the character since he was a play off of Van Damme with very similar stories and looks and how they fought too. Imagine if they got Van Damme to play Cage which sadly didn't happen since he was involved with another game which was okay but nothing compared to the original version of it. Don't Hate. :)
