Will Quan Chi wield the Living Weapon concept from MKDA?

I've always wondered about Quan's MKDA concept staff. Who's head is on it and what can it do? What if he killed Shinnok and put his head on it as an altered time line event? He could showcase the weapon in several special moves and a fatality.

Probably not. I don't think this concept will ever be put to use.

I don't really care for the weapon, but I like his outfit in the first image.

I'd love to see that thing become real one day. Perhaps when the new universe catches up to the MKDA timeframe.

Me too, that's one freaky looking head.

What the hell is that thing on the head?!
I must know!

I really don't see what is so attractive about this weapon. It's fucking ugly as hell and it spits flies! FLIES!!! It looks like a weapon that could be added to some animé fighting game like Guilty Gear or Blazblue.
I hope to never see it in-game...

Hmm I wonder if he got that weapon... could we fatality it too since it is alive.
Brutal Legend style perhaps?

It would be cool, i'd certainly like it if it was in, but I don't expect to ever see it in game.

I'd never take that staff over his dual wielding swords.

Give the swords to somone else, let him have the creepy looking staff.
Awesome thread.
I too have been hoping for his "Living Weapon" ever since I saw those glorious concept art pictures of it in MKDA.
The "weapon" eventually gave birth to "Drahmin" as a character of his own (remember he even shoots flies), but, I would love to see this unique weapon in the form of a special move or Fatality.
That would be an epic Fatality. Tons of crazy possibilities.

I'd fucking love to see that staff in the future. That's the weapon he was meant to have.

Isn't Drahmin what this staff ultimately became?
(Not that I'm saying Drahmin wouldn't be improved by turning back into a staff, mind you).

I agree with this. Except I hope to never see it out-of-game either. I feel like a lesser person for having seen it here.I really don't see what is so attractive about this weapon.
