Ultra Street Fighter 4 has this feature, and it's on past-gen consoles (PS360) so i don't see why all versions of MKX can't have this!

I just hope the next gen version has an online replay viewer like Killer Instinct. So we can upload our matches to youtube and share them.

While I don't use the feature all that much, I thought replays in Street Fighter 4 where only recorded you actually ranked up?

Next gen can already do that though. You'd just have to record before the match starts. But I agree, that feature would be good for those who aren't on next-gen.

I know that. I was referring to a replay feature, so that you can actually review and pick and choose which matches you actually want to save and upload. Rather than having to choose to record before hand and choosing to record each match individually.
I think the feature is handled really well in Killer Instinct. It's simple, but very straightforward.

Maybe i'm missing something here, but i really don't see cross generation as a bad thing. Think back to the days of MK1. When that came out you had SNES, Mega Drive, Master System, Game Gear, Game Boy and Amiga all running different versions of the game. As a Mega Drive owner at the time, i got to play what was arguably the best version. Including all the blood and fatalities, all the characters and levels.
In those days, the likes of the game gear and master system had less characters, less backgrounds and limited movesets. I dont see why the same couldn't apply here. Ps4 and xb one owners would get the full version, ps3 and xb360 could be minus a couple of characters, levels and features.
Or am I being too simplistic?

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have to omit characters for the 360/PS3 versions. Seriously, if the original Xbox and PS2 could handle 62 different characters in Armageddon, the 360 & PS3 could handle 25-30 characters just fine. The only way I can see characters being omitted from those versions is if they decide to give the Xbox One & PS4 exclusive guest characters that of course wouldn't be featured in the 360/Ps3 versions.

The question is, if there are PS4/XONE exclusive characters.. would you want them to be MK or guest characters?

Like clockwork.
This happens a lot I've noticed. Some website (usually European) releases details of an upcoming game early. The company behind said game remains silent or denies. The info stays live for a couple of days and then it's pulled completely. Official announcement comes shortly after.
