Also, the PC port was not handled by NRS but the same team that's doing the PS3/Xbox versions.

Tons of bugs. If you triggered levolution events the game would sometimes crash. People would be randomly kicked from servers. That kind of stuff.

Seriously, fuck steam and their bullshit new "Stream download while you play" Why couldn't I stick to the old download the full game and then play it?

Never liked steam, hate that so many games make it a requirement.

Anyway, as far as streaming downloads go, I won't load any game up until all the downloads for it are finished anyway. That at least saves some hassles in most cases.

But seriously, that's one reason why I prefer consoles. One game can run 1,000 different ways depending on PC specs, the hardware itself, the operating system ect.

Nah, it's just the shitty steam idea of doing a "download while you play" Which is not really a bad option, the problem is them forcing you to do it and not giving you the normal option of downloading and installing the full game.

This is why I personally stick to consoles. I can admit without shame that I am not the best with computers, and all that PC stuff just sounds way too complicated lol I mean I know I could do it, but opening a plastic box and sticking a disc into a console just seems so much easier lol

I'm personally enjoying roaming around the new Krypt in the meantime. This is amazing compared to past iterations

For the record, I'm a console person, I just bought MK on PC and Xbox because the PC version had better deals, and so I could still play it when other's want to use the TV.

That said, it's crap like this that makes me a console person. PC is better in theory, But in practice it's always headaches and bullshit like this. Rather just put the game in and have it work on a damn Xbox.

For me, Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Goro are the only characters who aren't playable.

Man this is frustrating... Installing pack 13 of 29... It's taking forever, it's not even downloading full speed...

I can't play, no arenas to select... DISASTER...

Install packs 5 and 9 have been up for a few hours now but story mode/online/test your luck/etc are still not selectable as Scorpion and Sub-Zero are still bugged and the game thinks you don't have all of the characters yet. The DLC pack for Goro, just came down for me though. Fingers crossed that they have it fixed soon... eager to get into story mode.
