The only way at this point that I see Bi-Han returning (as Sub-Zero, I could see him comming back as Noob though), is a flashback battle during Scorpion's chapter or something like that (and I don't think that's the case because Scorpion supposedly loses that battle anyway, so it shouldn't be during his own playable chapter).

1st one became Noob
2nd became Cyber Sub-Zero
and as Sub-zero is human again this is the 3rd...

I'm guessing he's resurrected as human/cryomancer because... because of yes. Jax is resurrected with his cyber arms because he was more useful for Quan Chi with them and... and Quan Chi knows the developers prefer Jax with cyber arms.

Or maybe at some point Quan Chi tries to corrupt Kuai Liang (making him accept it instead of mind control as revenant) and gives him his flesh body back as a gift to try to corrupt him (and of course use him to hunt Scorpion once Quan Chi realizes he's a liability when he starts to figure things out).

Classic Sub-Zero = Bi Han kun

There's only one TRUE Sub-Zero. Bi-Han. Kuai Liang is Tundra. He took the name of Sub-Zero after Bi-Han's death, while in pursuit of his killer (Scorpion). Kuai Liang became a cyborg. Kuai Liang is now dead (because apparently Sindel's elbow-to-the-armored-faceplate is more lethal than anything she did to any other character).

Bi-Han is Noob Saibot. Noob was thrown into the Soulnado in MK9. We know that the Soulnado has interesting effects on people who are directly exposed to it. The comic clearly shows that MKX Sub-Zero is Bi-Han.

So, there is no "third Sub-Zero". This Sub-Zero is Bi-Han. Tundra/Kuai Liang is dead.

The image of him kicking robotic lin quei guys? That still could be Kai Liang in another costume. After all its HIM in the comic fighting Kano. And none of the dialog between Sub and Quan proved anything 100%, you could easily interpret it both ways.

the comic sub is kuai and also the maskless bearded sub in game is kuai, kittelsen and crew made sure to give him the scar for a reason.

also quan chi and sub don't talk at all in the comics, quan hasnt even been in them at all till the one that came out tonight. and we cant go by the dialogues yet, since mkx could still feature both sub-zeros like mk9 did.

Kuai was also one of Quan chis revenents, thats what the red dragon was referring to.

Kuai was revived after the netherrealm war, as one of the chosen earthrealm warriors to be revived.
