People have a problem counting Ferra as a playable character because you don't technically play as her... despite you do for two of the three variations.

So some basically count out of the twelve characters we have, 2.5 are female, despite we have three.

There's always one jackass to reinforce the stereotype that people who play MK are all 14 year olds who only play it for blood and tits.

Personally, I hope every female shows as little skin as Cassie just to bury this shit and get rid of fans who want it so it gives them a happy in their pants. Its indicative of a larger trend in the MK community that totally undermines the legitimacy of MK as a fighting game. For example, when MK9 made its Evo debut, the most important moment in the franchise since the release of MKDA and the recognition that MK was a tournament worthy fighter capable of standing beside the likes of Tekken and Street Fighter, a game that doesn't have to be apologetically excused as a 'silly beat em up' by its own creator, the most active thread on this forum was a totally irrelevant discussion over whether Smoke had an unrequited gay crush on Sub Zero. That, and the massive homophobia that accompanied it, took precedence in the eyes of the MK community over something as important as an Evo debut.

That kind of mentality, the denigration of MK as a tournament worthy fighter and placing continuing importance on the tits and blood that gave MK and its fans such a pathetic reputation, needs to go away.

Fuck the tits, fuck the blood. Give us gameplay, balancing and story. If a bunch of jackasses who harp on about 'needing' tits from female characters leave the franchise, good.

Man, fatalities in MKX are really sick. I almost can't watch Kano's face expression and his mutilated arms. But I'm glad they're not giving us another vertical slice finisher.

On another note - I feel it's NOT a fatality. The camera angle is very unusual. My sixth sense says it's a BRUTALITY.
