Well, as of right now, nothing has leaked. A lot of the NRS twitter feeds has slowed to a crawl, which generally can be considered a sign of a crunch period for NRS. Gotta make whatever they're going to show as shiny as possible.

As for what they're working on. I'd say Injustice 2 is the smart bet. The last thing Boon tweeted out was a fan made mock up(he was clear to point that out) for Injustice. So, unless he's just throwing people off the trail(possible), Injustice is where my bet currently sits.

MKX made so much money though and WB likes those greenbacks. Maybe I'm just being an optimist, but an MKXI reveal would be awesome. Give Carlos is doing mocap and Boon's polling fans on DLC characters, is KP3 something they'd show at E3? Maybe KO3 reveal and a teaser for their next project?

Spinoff, please. I quite liked Injustice but I'm not at all keen on the idea of a sequel taking precedence over MK. It's been 11 years since Shaolin Monks and everyone here knows that this franchise has tons of room for growth. It seems a little crazy that WB hasn't done more with the license since acquiring it. Only 2 games produced in 7 years? They should either give Injustice to another studio while NRS produces an MK spinoff, or have another studio make a spinoff while NRS does Injustice.

I do fully expect Injustice 2, though.

I would be shocked if they didn't at least make a mention of KP3, i.e. "KOMING SOON" or something along those lines. If not a KP3, at least an announcement to expect a final few characters.

I also expect Injustice 2 will be officially announced. I imagine it's been in development for quite some time now.

As far as a spin off game...that'd be nice. Ed has mentioned his desire to return to an adventure game in recent interviews.

I like the idea of a Primal Rage game or The Grid 2. Never got to play The Grid, but I've always heard great things about it. An MK adventure game would be neat too. It's been a while. If it is Injustice 2, that's also fine I guess. Any news would be interesting.

Probably will get Injustice 2 and confirmation on whether or not Kombat Pack 3 is happening.

I would LOVE to see "The Grid" and "Mortal Kombat 4" Arcade ports released on PS4 or Xbone. Both with Online play. Don't know if it's possible with Midway gone but one can dream.

As long as it is it's own story, I'm on board. The one shitty thing about Shaolin Monks were how many retcons to the MK2 era timeline there were(and many actually stuck). But I guess since NRS retconned everything already, their isn't much danger here.

Still, it had all i want from an MK game. The atmosphere was perfect, gameplay was very good too. The game was packed with MK sweetness.
I dont think NRS will bring back that look and feel that im used to and love about MK. Since MKx changed alot and ditched 60% of the MK elements. I can only hope that i will like any future MK releases.

Thanks to that new poll Boon put up, I think they'll reveal who is in KP3, and at the end of the trailer give a teaser to the next project. Regardless of what they want to do, which I feel is another MK title, I have a feeling WB has pushed for Injustice 2. They would want it to release around the same time as Justice League, to build hype and revenue for both, like with Man of Steel.
