Yeah but that's kind of the thing though, ain't it? We do already know he's pretty much going to be in the game... so they should reveal someone that isn't so obvious.

This was my thinking but apparently not shared by anyone. Raiden is one of the biggest characters in MK, probably third most recognisable between the big two, obviously you reveal him to get the most exposure and most press

Why?

Does it really make that much of an issue that Raiden comes into this game? I'm not that huge of a fan of his but any reveal is fine for me. I mean at least they're showing us something finally. Heck, maybe it's Kidd Thunder.
