hm... his look is a little bit boring. i expectet a darker raiden. but his variation were really nice. his x-ray was funny but not as brutal as the others. hm... the fatality was ok. i thought of a remake of his mk1 fatality but this was to quick. more screams, more burning flesh, more blood... it was a little bit lame:/ and i'm disappointed of his lightning... it looks like water sometimes. but maybe the quality of the stream wasn't the best. but the variation were really awesome.

Anybody got a picture? Just literally got home to see on here that it was Raiden.

Can already tell raiden will be top tier, lightning traps for anti air, teleport moves for getting out of corners and his mix ups look like they can combo into his throws.

Really isn't rage. Raiden is my second fav but boon showed him to troll. He knows most people already knew he's be in so he showed him instead if someone from mk4-D. If would have rather saw shujinko. Gives us something to talk about not something we expect

So its only just Raiden revealed. I hoped they would reveal 2 characters instead of just 1.

Wow, the animation is spectacular. That "Lightning Trap" thingy is an awesome defensive move.

However, the Fatality wasn't as impressive. Too cartoony with the bug eye effects. Also, physically Raiden looks too...ordinary. His hat looks like a hubcap, but the energy emanating from it was nice.

Overall, I give it a B+.

How can anyone not like that Raiden reveal? It was sick! Predictable? Yes. Fucking awesome? Hell yes.

Ed Boon, co-creator of the Mortal Kombat series, said on Giant Bomb’s E3 Day 3 wrap-up show (around the 31:00 mark) that new characters from the recently-announced Mortal Kombat X would be announced at Comic-Con, assuring the game would have some appearance at the convention.

We still have till next year for the release. There is plenty of time for other reveals.

But you guys knew deep down it was Raiden. The fact you guys still let his trolling get to you is crazy. Dude has been trolling for decades.

Raiden was never a favorite of mine, but those moves were insane! Not to mention that fatality.

This is the first time I've followed reveals for mk mainly because I want to see who's in it. So I'm not used to the trolling.

I'm glad they brought an old character back, but no surprise it was Raiden. I've got to admit the variations were pretty creative and so was the fatality though the latter could have been bloodier. But Raiden's costume just looks like...plain Raiden (but I'll admit it's MUCH better than MK9 Raiden's costume). No major revamp of his image plus the X-ray was SO bland. If you compare it side-to-side with Kotal Kahn's X-ray, don't be surprised if almost everyone choses the latter as the most brutal X-ray.

I can care less really. I'm only interested in fujin. Once he gets reveled if he's in I won't follow this game any longer till release. If he's not in me buying it is up in the air.
