Great moves but man design-wise i hated it, incredibly bland looking Raiden :(
The hat is too small, doesn't look mysterious or badass at all, and looks almost exactly like mk9's Raiden. Oh well hopefully the alternative is better. sadsadsad

Now I'm forced to follow this game for how ever long till fujin is reveled. Once he is reveled of he's in then I won't watch anything or search anything about the game till it's release.

I like the lighting on his hand during Thunder God and the electrocution combos but Displacer looks like a lot of fun tbh.

He looks awesome. His design is basically a better, more detailed version of his last couple costumes. The electric effects look damn awesome, especially during that X-ray.

They obviously did it slowly to show how it works, I'm sure it'll be as fast as the player commands it. They wouldn't put in a new move that's useless.

The fact that they've retained Richard Epcar and Patrick Seitz as Raiden's and Scorpion's respective VAs has pretty much convinced me that we are getting a new Sub Zero after all.

I guess Im one of the FEW that likes Raiden's new design. Instantly recognizable. This looks how I imagined him looking in MK2. Excellent reimagining of his main look. And his hat is perfect. Big hats on Raiden blow. MK9 was really meh.

His gameplay looks insane. Did I see a dragon punch and a staggered teleport. Mother of God...

I have to agree.

Was it predictable? 100%. But so what? It didn't make it any less cool. Raiden looks like a ton of fun and he never looked so awesome to play. And those variations are killer.

Nope, I love it. The three returning characters revealed all look the best they've ever been, in my opinion. This game could turn out to be something very special

Well surprising or not, Raiden looks solid.

Only reinforces my faith in NRS at this point.

If this is the kind of quality we can come to expect from this team, I'd say MKX is going to be one hell of game, and one of hell of a next chapter for MK.

2015, you're way, WAY too far away...

Edit: Although, I will admit, I was kind of hoping for Raiden to fry Kotal Khan with a torrent of electricity for his fatality...Palpatine-style. lo

Haha, true. But honestly, after all the trouble it caused in the last game, would you have kept it? Maybe that's just Raiden's way of disconnecting the future phone.

As far as how he looks, I think they've finally pushed this design as far as it will go. It looks great to be sure, it just has a been there done that sorta vibe.

His gameplay is...well, god like. To me, its the best example of how much variations are really gonna change the game. Good stuff.

His fatality was cool. Reminds me of one I came up with years ago...but mine was betterglasses.

His fatality was pretty sweet, but his xray was pretty meh. Though I'm sure it will change a bit like how Mileena's xray changed.

I dig it.
Everything looks so crisp. Raiden has some neat stuff going on with those variations and Kotal is still awesome as well! That grapple move of Raiden's was sweet!

Raiden is a character who's primary costume really doesn't need much changing. I know people liked his MKD look, so did I, but if we aren't going to get that version, this is a solid look for him that is instantly recognizable. His specials and fatality are pretty great, but what I really like is how crisp his particle effects look.
