Is there any chance for a PAX appearance? I looked up their schedule/lists and didn't see MKX, but is it still possible since there's like 4?

We may get a huge surprise from Boon about MKX at PAX even thought its not on the list. Who knows though.

@projectzero00- I'm praying Mileena makes it in! Right now she is the only character that I'm currently rooting for. I can deal with pretty much anyone not making the cut, but Mileena for some reason is one I couldn't deal with. For me she has been the MK poster girl for nearly ten years since Deception, so it'll be extremely odd if she doesn't make it. I'm also surprised we don't see as many Mileena fans requesting her than we do Kitana fans requesting Kitana, but maybe that's just from my vantage point.

Maybe that's because Kitana died in MK9 and her fans are trying to show Boon that she has a following that wants her back. I believe she has a big fanbase as it is, but I do feel that it wouldn't be so obvious had she not died in MK9. I mean that would make her a shoe-in for the next game but now that her inclusion is doubtful, her fans are trying twice as hard to get Boon's attention.

If it's not on the list by now, I doubt NRS will be there. Boon did say we were getting an official release date in a couple of weeks, though, and that kinda sorta coincides with PAX.

Going to have to disagree with Max about Kratos' inclusion in MK9. Max is saying he was only there to promote God of War 3, but God of War 3 came out a year before MK9. That is some late ass promoting if that is what they were doing.

Here's why I think they picked Kratos: He's a very recognizable PS character, super violent and gory, and he fits the MK universe more than other PS characters.

As for his picks, I won't address AVP because I hate the idea of Alien and Predator being console exclusive. Especially since there's nothing that would make them have to be on one platform or the other. Unless they were made available to both consoles like Yoda and Darth Vader in SC4.

For Xbone, a KI character is guaranteed. I'm betting on Fulgore or Jago, but I want Jago because I could totally see him with a Shadow Jago variation.

For PS, I think it has to be Sweet Tooth. His name and face are so synonymous with PS, everyone who owns or has owned a PS knows him. He would not be promoting anything Twisted Metal, just PS in general.

The guy from Bloodborne is a good pick if we have to promote something. But I'd rather have Galahad from The Order: 1886 if its just for promotion.

You forget that Ed Boon has expressed several times before that he is a big fan of God of War which most likely has something to do with Kratos' inclusion as well.

Another valid point.

Who do you want for guests? I already know Orchid for Xbone.

I don't want guest characters, but it seems inevitable. But as you said, Orchid would be cool. However, like Max says, it would most likely be Fulgore... though Kano already has the eye laser moves.

Yeah I'm also definitely betting on a KI character for the XBox One, judging from a tweet from Ed a while back that said he was gonna meet up with Ken Lobbs to discuss MKvsKI. I'm glad I'll be getting that version.

Definitely either Fulgore or Jago. I'm leaning more to Jago because like someone else said that he could have shadow Jago as one of the variants, not sure they would do with a third, maybe classic? As for Fulgore, he'd be a copy of Kano and there really aren't different versions of Fulgore other than what he uses in KI but anything is possible at this point.

Maybe Jago's 3rd variation could be Instinct, where his Special Moves are slightly buffed and he can activate Instinct Mode. Where it would have the same benefits like it does in KI.

Just a thought.

Coul be neat to see one of the Tennos from Warframe too. Excalibur would be the typical one.

Orchid would be too similar to Jade appearance wise. At least for people like me who dgaf about KI and don't really know much about it.

There are things that have been not released yet about folks who ATTENDED, like interviews that crowd sourced questions from MK fans...

MKU is planning to release their interview today that they did with Ed Boon.

I just realized who'd make an awesome guest for PS.

Nariko from Heavenly Sword. Her game's mythos have ties to deities, so lore wise she isn't a stretch. Plus she is a badass who would fit MK well in general. And the variation system is perfect for her 3 different sword styles. Power, Speed, and Ranged. However, there are two major obstacles that would prevent her from being a guest.

• She's not very well known to the gaming public, just the Playstation nation.

• She wasn't in an M rated game.

But I do think these 2 things could very well be bypassed. If Nariko is just the PS exclusive, the PS crowd will know her. Just not the more casual gamers. And the violence in Heavenly Sword wasn't that brutal, but she isn't a Girl Scout. She is more than willing to kill people in a stylish and violent way.

Considering that guest characters usually added as promotion for the certain game or platform, I doubt she has any chances to appear. She is not well known and her game was released quite a time ago.
Maybe lady from this new game from Ninja Theory has a chance though.

Yeah unfortunately Nariko's chances to appear in MKX are nonexistent. And while the Heavenly Sword movie is slated for a 2015 release, there's no way they'd go through all that trouble to get Nariko in MK to promote a straight to DVD movie.

I just think Nariko would be a fantastic guest. As for that other NT character, I think her chances are even slimmer than Nariko's. Nariko is owned by Sony, that other character is owned by NT. While that game will appear on PS4 first, Sony doesn't own the franchise.

Honestly if they are adding these new like cassie cage and Kotal Kahn they better have different personalities and should really develop their charterers.. cause often new ones and especially descendant tend to be boring lol

but lets hope we Cassie is as sassy as her mommy
