How Sonyas older self should look

From what we've seen in that picture, Sonya looks younger than Johnny, who visibly looks old. How do people here feel about Sonya's appearance? Should she look older?

To me, an ideal look would be this: gearsofwar.wikia.com/wiki/Bernadette_Mataki

I'm not asking for the old woman from The Shining, I just hope they don't chicken out on on her older self's design just because she's a woman. Especially if her younger self's already an alt.

Sindel pulls off being an older (looking) woman well, and you can tell she looks older than the other women. No reason Sonya couldn't pull it off too.

Though I wouldn't mind her looking a little older, like the example you gave, her depiction isn't unrealistic, to me.

Women (people in general) age more gracefully these days. We eat healthier, we workout, we don't smoke, etc. Sonya doesn't have to have a lined face to be older. Look at all the 40+ celebrity women who look fantastic these days (hi, JLo). Yes, a lot of that comes from makeup, so we can easily say that Sonya is wearing a lot of makeup as well.

P.S.: NRS would never make the First Lady of Mortal Kombat look "old" anyway. I knew that back in June.

I kind of agree with the OP

and I think the pic you linked looks great. She looks older and looks badass


Lets face it, Sonya has had a stressful few years and shes taken a few beatings



I would say she was a minimum of 25 in MK9 which would put her close to 50 now

She can still look great, and badass, but make her look her age, nothing wrong with looking 50 AND looking great


It would actually make me more interested in Sonya

Have we ever had a 50 year old woman in a video game (who isn't magical)

She's younger than Johnny Cage, that's why she looks young compared to him, dude.

And there are many cases that people look young for their age. Sonya is just one of the lucky ones, she ages like wine's flavor, she looks much more better older.

As a hardcore Sonya fan i am really happy with her look.

I do hope they fix the hair a bit and she has her hat in one of her variations.
But love her look overall

I really hope you are right about that.

Don't know i am still worried she might not be in playable but just in story mode.

I don't wanna get to excited and then it gets smashed when i get the game and no Sonya.
