Not sure if it's been established yet but Kotal Kahn's has 3 different totems that:

1. Damage Buff

2. Damage Resist Buff

3. Life Leech with inflicted damage

PPJ mentioned it on the GGA stream just now.

I like the idea of him using Totems in battle for buffs. Reminds me sort of Dormammu from MVC3.

I think Keith David is doing Kotal's voice. In one of Gamespot's gameplay videos you can hear him speak.

The last name is sticking out. I wonder if he is Shao Kahn's father, brother, son, or whatever? He's very interesting. There's almost no way it's a coincidence.

...and Ogre is one of my Tekken favs. He totally gets a pass for killing my all-time Tekken favorite (Jun).

Characther look and gameplay look good.

Ok I'm going to play the pain in the arse role, but I don't like Kotal Kahn at all.

His look is unoriginal and mediocre at best, the aztec/mayan theme doesn't fit the MK universe at all, his Fatality is another heart rip, his powers are meh... You know, blood powers are Skarlet's, sun powers don't look that great and War powers, c'mon it isn' t even clear in what they consist.

To me Kotal is just another gimmick character. Out of the new characters he is the worst.

I'm sure you wouldn't be saying that if he was another ninja.

It's a bit hard to distinct the sprites from the background due to the many dark and earthy colours, but otherwise good job.

Why does he have Kahn in his name?

Aztecs don't fit, Vampires don't fit, cyborgs don't fit....with such close minded approach it will be very hard to find anything that'll fit MK.

I dare remind that MK has millitary, ninjas, four-armed monsters, centaurs, demons, ghosts, wizards, gods...yeah, there is certainly no place for the new stuff. No sir, absofuckinglutely!!
