If MKX gets a guest character for DLC, I hope its not Goldberg. He won't fit in. Bad enough Freddy was in MK9 as DLC guest character.
If anything, I'd certainly accept Spinal from KI. He was one of my faves in the short series.

We all would. But Neathrealm Studios just can't help themselves. I think general audiences loved Kratos and Freddy in MK9 so I'm sure they'll do something simelar once again.

I just wanna know why people are thinking "Who's Next?" refers to guest characters. What kind of promotional strategy is it to promote things from other media as your first promo? They should be focusing their attention on their own game before hyping up guest characters.

Which is why I think Who's Next simply refers to which MK characters might die next in the series. Nothing fancy. Worry about guests later.

I certainly understand the argument for both sides.

I personally am all for it. I enjoyed having Freddy in mk9. I assume that's about as close as I'm ever going to get to a horror fighting game. Plus, guest characters were the best selling dlc for mk9 and injustice, so unless something drastic happens, its pretty much a lock for this game as well.

Who's Next to invade Earthrealm (Shinnok?)

I'm nervous about the crossover/sequel talk. Just have a bad feeling. I remember being wholly disappointed at the announcement of MK vs. DC

It would be really stupid for them to put out ANOTHER crossover game so soon. Especially when it's not high in demand. In fact, I think it's absurd for us to even be worried about it. Unfortunately, we can't put it past crazy Ed and his crew. Although I still feel the chances for it are slim.

I'm not really worried whether it's a Cross Over or not. We're overdue for a MK Sequel and these hints seem pretty obvious.

How can you not be worried?

For me, a cross over would be the worst possible thing to happen. I'd honestly rather wait another 3 years than see a cross over ever again.

Nah, the worst thing to happen would be wb deciding to gut their games division, fire everyone, and sit on the mk i.p. in the hopes of making another web series. Keep it in perspective friend. After all, if it weren't for MK vs DCUniverse, we might not even be having this conversation.

That could make for an awesome story if done right. That just screams backstabbing, intrigue, unlikely alliances etc. The only thing I wonder though is whether Earth's warriors would even fit well in this story or if they'd be shoehorned in somehow. I like the idea. Who's the next king...
