Boon's plan from the start was to try and hint towards MK10, but he underestimated the gaming and fan communities when we guessed what game he was teasing from the start. Ever since then he's been trying to make us doubt us, himself and others by dropping tweets like this, and judging by your two comments, he's succeeded. I can only imagine Boon's smug smile when he tweeted that. He knew people would think we were getting a crossover, but he looks at the giant poster for MK10 and laughs, knowing that someone, somewhere is judging their own thoughts and theories. Even people who this morning thought we were getting MK10, are now questioning everything they've thought. By one tweet. By one tweet, you are all shitting yourselves for tomorrow. I know we're getting MK10, there's no doubt in my mind. But it's still fun to watch everyone doubt themselves. Boon's no troll, he's just a mad genius.

You're right. Because there's been absolutely NO demand for another cross over and he already knows the lukewarm to negative reception the last one got from die hard fans. I highly doubt after winning so many people over with MK9 that they would go and do a random cross over. It's definitely MK10. You're right, just got so scared LOL.

Besides that poster that was leaked seemed 100% Kombat. Ok, I'm calming down now. *woosah*

The hype shall never die. I think this is going to be one of the most enjoyable pre-release hypes. Deception and Armageddon both had me on cloud 9 upon announcement. Deception looked so dark and evil, I couldn't wait, it also was great seeing many of the classic characters make their first ever 3D debut with fresh new designs. Armageddon was amazing simply because of seeing all the characters together, I remember thinking of constant match-ups between characters that had never since before ever been in the same game.

Of course toward the last few months I thought they revealed a little too much of Deception, even Dark Raiden and Zombie Liu was shown. Zombie Liu would have been a great surprise on its own. And we all know how Armageddon ended up turning out...

But I'm glad to be apart of the hype and speculation once more. It's the best part of every new MK.

The games are amazing. The anime was terribly rushed. So I would highly recommend the games if you have a Vita.

I know this is from the last page, but I just wanted to point out that I read this as a confirmation that it is, in fact, NOT a crossover.

I saw it as a reference to how everyone (or at least a lot of people) thinks the "X" in "MKX" will be something more like "MK X DC" and less like "MK10". So Ed was just saying that people use "V" instead of "X" these days to indicate a crossover game (MK vs. DC).

Meaning, no, the new MK is not a crossover, otherwise it would be MK V not MK X.
