Kitana's costume design reminds me of some of the Deadly Alliance artwork that wasn't used in-game. It stands out from previous entries and that's a hell of a good thing. Gameplay is amazing. Kung Lao is fast and brutal. Kitana looks and plays elegantly but still like a fucking assassin should. She's swift and her fans look as deadly as ever. I was completely floored seeing her originally.

My question still has to be where are these servants of Quan Chi at, though? Is that their alternate costumes or something? Were they saved and not part of the group of revenants? This trailer has me floored, excited and left scratching my head wanting answers. In other words, it did everything right.

And Goro.....good old Goro. I knew we wouldn't get gameplay footage, I said last night it'd only be a pre-order teaser but what a hell of a teaser! Where was this Goro in MK9!? Out with the ugly, non-threatening model and in with the "Holy fuck what is that!?!?" intimidation model. Fuck. Yes. Now THAT is fucking GORO!! Bravo, NRS. Bravo.



Yep, I'm right there with you. The character reveals thus far have been amazing, but seriously, enough with the MK9 crap. Give us something new, something fresh...something we have NOT seen before. Or if you're going to keep showing us returning characters, give us characters who were NOT in MK9. We've had plenty in a row now, time to mix it up. It has nothing to do with the reveals not being good enough or not being happy with being shown stuff and everything to do with wanting to see characters I haven't already seen a bagillion times over. I'd say it was an excuse to get MK9 casual lovers hyped but seriously, that was one or two reveals ago. They're hyped. Now give us something for us hardcores who love the later characters. Kenshi's in the comics, Daegon is mentioned, Netherealm War happens so Shinnok is obviously involved in-game or in-story, Frost is shown, Bo Rai Cho casting call leaked....we KNOW they're around. It's no longer a secret. So spill. And whatever happened to all these new characters? You gotta show them off and get people hyped, or else going into playing the game, nobody is going to give a shit about them and go straight to the MK9 cast. I swear, it's like sometimes they just dont give a fuck with trying unless its the Trilogy cast.

Okay, I'm happy for you that your obvious favorite was revealed but take this into consideration; 1) This is a public forum where people are free to voice their opinions, whether they agree with you or not. 2) It's not unrealistic expectations to expect oh, I don't know, some of the 'many, most' new characters we've ever had, or all the post Trilogy characters now making their way into the comics especially considering we're now past the Trilogy story. Finally, 3) Save the name calling and show a little respect for your fellow forum members. If you don't like someone's opinion, crying and whining about it yourself doesn't make you look any better than the people you're complaining about. People are buying a product at the end of the day, they have a right to be happy or unhappy with it and have a right to voice their opinion of what is included in it since we're all here for the same reasons. Don't get all edgy and testy just because someone wasn't as excited as you to see YOUR favorite. Be mindful of others wanting their favorites to represent.

OMG Kitana looks absolutely FLAWLESS. Seriously, I HATED her MK9 design, but she literally looks amazing here. No one better be bitching about her outfit because she looks absolutely PERFECT. I'm waiting on a render, now!

Goro looks great too! Love the tease at the end, can't wait until we get his full trailer! Kung-Lao is badass.

I'm officially hyped once more. Just waiting on my Mileena and a few others and I'll be satisfied.

Kitana die-hards might I suggest a slice of humble pie? Be grateful your favorite was included. This is easily Kitana's greatest look to date i'm really digging the Middle-Eastern vibe i'm getting from her puffy parashorts. The costume screams "skilled assassin".


Her gameplay is very fitting for her style but i've never been a huge fan of her in the first place so I'll reserve my final judgement for her when the game drops and proper balance patches are applied. Dat fatality though! The eye roll was a nice touch they are truly focusing on the the details.



Kung Lao looks like he enabled BEASTMODE. His gameplay looks phenomenal I think of the cast so far i'm most hype to try him out. Dat fatality tease was beyond tasty just when you thought you had seen everything with the "buzzsaw" style fatality they throw you an opposite starting point bone to breathe new life into it.



Goro...my god Goro looks menacing really digging the tribal wanderer vibe he is giving off along with the one sided war paint job. I can only imagine how brutal his gameplay will be I've had MKX for PS4 preorded since his announcement. So this just reassures me of that choice.


This trailer has doubled my desire to see Reptile in MKX his gameplay would be absolutely fantastic in this engine and face melting tech would look so sweet on next gen machines. #LackeyLove

I'm not a fan of the design, but I've said my piece in a prior post. I'm looking forward to her variations if they have different alternate uniforms. Still, I'm happy to see her in the game.

I'm sorry to say but you seriously sound stupid now. I went through all the comments before posting, to see if I missed out on some information about the video and nobody was bitching as much as you. All I saw was people being excited about how awesome she looks and some people being a little less excited but still making good comments about her.

After watching the Trailer several times i like Kitanas look more and more. But i don't like her gameplay. It isn't different as in MK9. Every other kharacter in MKX makes a step Forward but not Kitana.
I know it's not fair to jugde her without even watching her variations. Maybe she surprised me with some cool new moves and Combos. I have to wait and see.

But i think she is a nice Addition to the roster and has an important role in the Story.

I really hope for Reptile to make the cut. I don't think Sektor and Baraka were in MKX, but at least Reptile has to. God... if i imagine what NRS could do with him there...
