They have the exact same voice actress, Karen Strassman, so they should sound similar.

Some Kitana fans are being a little too vindictive about her inclusion. Even if someone hates your favorite character, that's ok. It's their opinion and they're entitled to it.

I wanted to throw a fuckin' parade when Kung Lao was revealed, but I didn't feel the need to throw it in the face of people who didn't like KL.

I dont hate Kitana..I'm actually pretty excited about her design for this game, but some Kitana fans(see what I did there)on here get way too sensitive when someone says anything negative about her.

Great video. Kitana and Kung Lao look great and Goro looks insane.

But...

I am disappointed. I am disappointed because Ed Boon and team are unable to follow through with their decision to kill off half of the cast.

I felt the same way you did after the first Kung Lao reveal. I love Kung Lao, he's an awesome character, but I knew thereafter if he was returning others who died in MK9 would too. Sure enough, with Kitana in this reveal (who I also like as a character), it all went out the window.

Accept it.

Kitana die-hards might I suggest a slice of humble pie? Be grateful your favorite was included. This is easily Kitana's greatest look to date i'm really digging the Middle-Eastern vibe i'm getting from her puffy parashorts. The costume screams "skilled assassin".


Her gameplay is very fitting for her style but i've never been a huge fan of her in the first place so I'll reserve my final judgement for her when the game drops and proper balance patches are applied. Dat fatality though! The eye roll was a nice touch they are truly focusing on the the details.



Kung Lao looks like he enabled BEASTMODE. His gameplay looks phenomenal I think of the cast so far i'm most hype to try him out. Dat fatality tease was beyond tasty just when you thought you had seen everything with the "buzzsaw" style fatality they throw you an opposite starting point bone to breathe new life into it.



Goro...my god Goro looks menacing really digging the tribal wanderer vibe he is giving off along with the one sided war paint job. I can only imagine how brutal his gameplay will be I've had MKX for PS4 preorded since his announcement. So this just reassures me of that choice.


This trailer has doubled my desire to see Reptile in MKX his gameplay would be absolutely fantastic in this engine and face melting tech would look so sweet on next gen machines. #LackeyLove

This also concerns me about Sub-Zero. I'm guessing they are just going to reveal it is either a) original Sub-Zero, b) younger Sub-Zero or TWIST it is going to be the brothers combined as one

I actually complimented more than I actually "bashed" her with the cool costume and the sweet fatality she has. Well atleast we can take Moloch off the list of possibilities for the Skull on Quan Chi's Chest. Look at the Teeth. My guess is it is Onaga.

Love seeing Kitana and Kung Lao back! The only returning characters I'm hoping for now are Smoke, Reiko, Tanya, and Fujin!
