Anyone remember that one guy that claimed he was gonna unleash hell on MKO if any of the "dead" characters return in MKX (especially Kitana). Il'd like to see him do it now. heheheh.

Not sure where my post went in another thread, but I mentioned that I was trolling about Kitana not being in MKX and not liking her. I had also said that if you wish/hope for a character not to be in the game, that character will be in and look what happened!

I am glad that we finally got a female reveal.

On another note, why didn't they give us Kung Lao's full fatality?

Trailer was fucking amazing. Seriously A+++ and the GORO hype! I can't fucking wait to see how much of a beast he's finally gonna be in this game!

Some interesting tidbits:

-Kitana: her design-FLAWLESS VICTORY... very Asian / Chinese princess inspired, I LOVE IT!!!! best design by far, definitely gives me back MKII vibes, something no previous game has done for me by far. Her colors are perfect, she looks so deadly and beautiful at the same time.

-Her gameplay: fan lift, fan toss, all that good stuff she's known for.. that fatality at the end is very nice, not too over the top like some of MK9's fatalities, just simple and brutal.

-Kung Lao: Donnie Yen inspired, OMFG yes! the million punch move must be a part of his X-ray, the other part with the hat thrown to Quan Chi's head is another part of his X-ray... He is so fast, so brutal, so Kung-Fu! for the Shaolin baby! His fatality looks like it will make his MK9 one even better. I loved that buzzsaw fatality for him, can't wait to see this one fully.

-The other characters looks so crisp and detailed, the animations are so smooth, the game looks so amazing oh my God.. the hype is fucking real. I'm now more excited for MKX than I was for MK9.

-That trailer music is sick, I wonder if it will be in the game... miles better than that wizz kalifa bullshit.

Kitana looks amazing. Finally got her design right and her fatality is pretty sweet. The detail in it is awesome.

Kung Lao looks impressive gameplay wise and I'm sure he will be the main guy tournament wise.

Goro... No gameplay but he looks so much better than MK9. A more menacing and beastly presence. I hope he gets the same treatment dialogue wise with the rest of the fighters.

I need to look more into the arenas.

I'm usually just a guy who likes Scorpion a lot and only plays as Scorpion but this new direction MK is going in makes me wanna play with every fighter. I'm excited

Kitana's design looks awesome. My favorite one was always the MKDA Kitana, but this one might actually beat it, if only for the fact that NRS finally dressed her up in something resembling actual assassin gear instead of a leotard. Digging the ornate royal hairpins, too.

I hate to say it, though, but I'm just not all that excited about her being in the game. :/ I guess her coming back was kind of a given, but literally any other female character would've been more interesting. Even fucking Kira of all people would've made me go: "holy shit, they thought Kira was worth bringing back for MKX? I can't wait to see what kind of makeover they gave her, then!"

I hope they'll actually give her something to do this time around. Edenia's still a part of Outworld in the NT, so I guess she'll be trying to un-merge it again. We'll see.

Quan and Lao will be top 5 best characters in game. Just from what I saw. I expect nerfs shortly after release.

Thit anyone noticed that the scull on Quan Chi's chest ??, it looks it was starting his second fatality.

I am at work and had to watch the trailer on my phone, my boss would be irate if I watched on the computer. For the best anyway since I probably would not be able to contain myself if I did watch on a bigger screen.

Hopefully when I get back home someone would have done an analysis of the trailer and glean as much from it as possible. Please.

Yeah, I really don't understand how this is a lack of creativity or the same bullshit over and over. They look fucking amazing!

How some people are STILL disappointed after this trailer is beyond me. Maybe they have unrealistic expectations, but for me I think this is gonna be enough to hold me over for quite some time.

Kitana looks about 100x better than in MK9, in fact it's probably the best she's ever looked.... just amazing. . Did they get a different voice actor for her this time around? She sounds much more threatening and darker than her MK9 voice. Hope Mileena comes back as well!

Kung Lao's gameplay looked incredible, he was one of my favorites in MK9 gameplay wise and it appears he'll be a lot of fun to play as in this game as well.

I'm HYPED!

Fanbase aside, though, but apparently NRS themselves liked him enough to give him a cameo in MK9. That alone makes his chances go way up.
