Kung Lao hasn't lost a step!

That Ip Man style beatdown on Quan Chi was sick. His X-Ray and Fatality look more gruesome than ever. I'm dying to see that stream now.

I'm glad that Kitana fans are happy. It's always nice to see people get who they really want. Now bring on Fujin!

Why are people ignoring the -at least- two new stages in the video shown in the quick snippets. Amazing.

To be fair, every character revealed since the initial reveal at E3 was in MK9: Raiden, Kano, Goro, Quan Chi, Kung Lao and Kitana. I can understand the frustration, new and revamped characters are still what I most want from MKX

As much as I've been blabbing about seeing Goro...that little scene was enough for me.

KITANA!!!!! I knew it!!!!! MKX was looking incredible. Now there is no doubt in my mind it will be the best game yet. I knew it was Kitana in the last picture with Kano revealed last night!!!!

I'm glad that they are getting the obvious people out of the way first, but I still want a "out of left field" character to keep us talking. This is looking too much like MK9.5 right now.

That being said, what they did show was awesome.

O my Fucking God that was awsome, she looks amazing, the moves of Kung Lao, just Wow he is a fast Character.

O and have you noticed she is Boot number 4 ?! Look at 0:20/ 0:21. That is boot number 4!

Kitana looks awesome.
I expected completely new character, though, but well...it was obvious that Kitana will return. I expected her to appear as DLC, but now it means that DLC position will be used for someone else.

This game looks more and more like MKDA 2.0. To complete the picture it needs only Cyrax and Reptile.

I have the entirely same thought process as you - I'm just relieved to have ONE character I'm invested in. I didn't expect Kitana to make it so I'm extremely happy/relieved.

Still waiting on revamped Havik, Fujin, Tanya, Bo Rai Cho. The announced web series cast gives me hope for at least Bo Rai. I appreciate that these characters don't lend themselves well to marketting to the broader audience, so hopefully they'll come later down the line.

NRS are focussing their marketting on the bread and butter characters right now to build hype - which is to be expected I guess.

Ok, i watched it two times. So it was Kitana? I'm fine with this, even if she Looks... different... not my taste. But she has nice moves. Her fatality is a... Extended Version of her MK9 fatality. The same Counts for Kung Lao. But i liked both. But i hope for some magical fatalities.. Everything they showed was more physical.. :)

And i really liked the teaser from Kung Laos X-Ray.. it reminds me of his MKDA fatality ;)

Gameplay wise i liked Kung Laos more. It was more martial arts like with fast punches. Anyone saw the Backgrounds? There is a Background where you can see wrecks of airplane and cars... So the Invasion already started :)

Kung Lao:

I seriously cannot wait to see his full fatality. We're going to have him slowly push his opponents into his hat? We're gonna play that game Kung Lao? Okay... okay, I dig it, I completely freaking dig it.

He looks awesome to play and god is he fast, especially for an old man. Although I was expecting to hear his part of the interaction with Raiden, but we can't get what we want. I am seriously impressed with what he's going to bring to the table. The description of his variations don't do justice, I NEEDED to see what they're like and here it is and they're literally how I've always pictured how he should have been played as all this time.

Bravo once again, Netherrealm Studios.

Kitana:

It took them this long to finally... FINALLY... FINALLY nail the PERFECT design for her. My god she finally looks like a fucking royal assassin. All this time I've been WAITING for this and here it is. My god, they did everything right that I had problems with in the previous game.

Her loin cloth floating and not acting properly, her hair was atrocious. Now, she's got no loose clothing and no long pony tail.

Thank FUCKING god Netherrealm Studios.

Now I want to see what her variations are going to be like. I assume she's going to be somewhat similar towards Kung Lao in two of the three variations will be focusing on her fans while the third focuses on her other abilities such as the square wave punch and her teleport?

Who knows.

But her fatality... I honestly did not see the ground behind Kano, I really thought he was going to be standing. But this is a huge improvement from her 2011 fatalities. I honestly thought she had THE lamest fatalities out of the cast, even more lame than Sindel's who basically had the same fatality only performed differently.



I used to be a fan of Kitana way back, like when I was in kindergarten... throughout the years I just didn't care for her. Now... I have a change of heart.

Although now I'm going to be sitting on my phone during work today, seeing how many people post, "She's supposed to be dead." "Where's my new character?" "Why did it had to be Kitana?" "I'm not impressed" posts.

Fuck yeah. It's a nice throwback to his MK9 "Chained Fists" combo. Someone in an earlier post mentioned a possible Brutality. So ecstatic.

Kung was fantastic. Loving everything about him. Totally predicted that fatality for him in the Netherkast episode about him. Lol

Based on Kitana's conversation with Quan Chi, it's obvious that she will play a huge role in the story bringing Quan Chi down! OMG I cannot wait!!!!

I'm so glad that the Princess of awesomeness doesn't look like a slut now.

At first, in a normal video speed, at around 0:42, I thought it was Rain, so I was like, 2 new kharacter reveals, but when I paused, it was Raiden. Well I hated Rain anyway. But, I gotta say, Kitana's new design is the best yet. Even though I still prefer her original, MK2 design.

Just by the trend of the new kharacter reveals, I don't think there will be much 3D era kharacters. I won't even be surpriced if Quan Chi will be the only one making in. Though I am pretty much certain, Kenshi and Shinnok have the high possibilty making in, by looking at the post about comics(I am not the comic kinda guy, for I don't care about the story), and the footage from the story mode junk of MK9 for Shinnok.

The glimpse of Goro, made my decision certain that I am NOT going to pre-order. Unless Tanya or some other 3D era characters like Reiko gets thrown in as a bonus for pre-orderring, if they don't make it in the regular roster, I will wait until the game releases, and avoid this Goro lamo, for I don't want to bother seeing this tired character nor fighting against him.(sorry Goro fans, I just don't like the kharacter and don't want him in the roster, at least on MY copy of the game) Unless he is just a code-ridden bonus like they did in MK9 for pre-orderring for the Klassic skins and what not.(which is highly likely) which then, I can just give it away.
