Shao's projectile? Shao didn't even have his green blast in MK9.

Come to think of it, that could be Shao's helmet encased in Quan's chest plate thingy. I think this because Quan was holding Shao's helmet in the end of MK9.

I think hand and skull on the Quan Chi's clothes are belonging to the same being. I don't think it Shao Kahn's, since his helmet doesn't have lower jaw.

Quan Chi's projectile is a skull though, unlike Kahn's. Pretty sure that skull on QC's chest is not him. Kahn was taken away by the Elder Gods for punishment and didn't even die. Why would QC have his skull?

Shao Kahn was completely obliterated by the Elder Gods. There are no skulls of his to be had. The only leftover is his helmet.

His spear is his projectile, just like it was originally in MK2.

Sorry for the late reply, I forgot about this thread.

What I meant by Shao Kahn's projectile is the one used in Mortal Kombat 3 and the games after he's featured in (that doesn't deal with MKII of course).
Quan Chi's new projectile is the same fashion as Shao Kahn's around those games.
