That is not official.
1.Real time facial and body damage.I'll include here CLOTHES RIP-OFF.
2.Fighting Mode - 4 player on the same screen : 2vs2 (team) 1vs3 or Free For All or 2 players team and the other 2 players FFA.Team fatalities.
3.Traps - They were described and mentioned in MK:Deception. They was planned to be in MK:De but MK TEAM didn't have the time to put them in.The TRAPS are NOT death traps like in MK:De.They just do damage to u or ur opponent.Like for example if u near fire u'll burn a little bit but u wont die.Or somekind of object hits you like a rock.
3.a)HALF - LIFE TRAP Example: u are trying to escape of ur opponent and suddenly the floor under ur feet cracks. One of the feet (or both) is (are) nailed
to bamboo or some metal rusty spikes.U r in the trap and u are in agony. Then ur opponent can near you and beat u very very BAD!And u'll EAT alot of damage only from the trap. But u'll be stunned and u'll get your ass kicked by the other player.
I wont talk about the multytired levels cuz they'll be not new element but im sure they'll be very very upgraded and expanded as ideas and we'll see something really nice.
Im Sure that also the practice mode will be finaly as good as we wish but that also is not new element.
Finally for those who dont know :
The Frozen Catacombs and The Ice Worm Stage will be in MK 7.
The ice Worm in the pit looks faken sick!!

I agree with the real time damage, or something of the sorts; graphically, I expect something "new."
Not sure what else, though. If it were me, the other two would the fighting mechanics and a properly tested game...two things never before seen in an MK.
j/k, we love you MK.

I like the sound of realtime body and clothing damage. I've wanted something similar for a long time.
I'm not real excited about the traps. They could work then again they could suck.
The 2 vs 2 could be great. I'd like to see it.

well...if mk7 will be next gen like i'm fairly sure it will...real time damage should be pretty standard at this point
i'm hoping they do away with konquest and the kombo breakers or whatever the hell they're called....while kind of inventive...it was an easy way out of an ass whoopin and that's just not right
I'm hoping to see an improved engine....honestly i love the three fighting styles and see it as much more than a gimmick...it gives it a little more depth...but little things like collision detection and obvious holes in the engine...should be dealt with
and i couldn't tell you what the third thing is...i'm still foaming at the mouth over the huge roster thing
...which, granted, could be a good or bad thing at this point.....it's much too early to tell.

Real Time Damae will probably be a given. Tag fights and Team Fatalities definately sounds likely. My guess as to number 3 ...... full on create a fighter. If Soul Calibur 3 can do it, MK can do it. And the MK team knows that with every game released, their will always be a batch of fans pissed off that their fighter didnt make the roster. What better way to please everyone buy saying , hey, if you want reiko in the game, make him.
Imagine playing MK 7 online, with everyone using their own unique fighters. Or putting their own spin on the existing characters.
Have different cosmetic items as unlockables. Pick 3 fighting styles for your character. Choose 1-4 different special moves from the existing characters. Customize the color of projectile attacks ( blue fireball, green ice blast ). Choose male or female. Dress them up. Save to your memory card ( or memory stick) and boom your done. Hopefully if said feature makes it , they will allow you to create as many characters as your memory format can hold. That way you could make all of the classic Ninja's, or any old school fighter you want.

I like the "If you want Reiko in the game, make him" type of thinking. That is pretty neat.
What nearly made me pee myself was the "imagine all of our characters online" bit. There are plenty of game balance issues online without create-a-character, let alone with it. If they are going to implement that, then they better have some SEVERE play testing or a very balanced character creation system. I have ideas, but I will leave them to myself.

pretty cool ideas but how would 2 vs 2 on the same screen work out?

I would imagine that 2 on 2 would be weird to play unless they change the controls to something like an adventure game.

Listen Bleed.
They just need to use different angle of the camera...
Plus the MK TEAM defenatly have concept how it should be.
Everybody knows of the concept scetch in the krypt.
We have to debate that.

I dont think it would be too difficult to balance the characters. Mixing and matching fighting style I dont think would pose to many balance issues as each fighting style has its strengths and weaknesses. As far as special moves, again they all have their ups and downs. I think the key would be limiting the amount of specials you can do. Obviously you dont want people making a character that can do every special move their is. But say you wanted to make "Rain". Choose his look. Lets say the standard ninja outfit. Make it purple. Pick 2 fighting styles and a weapon. Now he can pick acouple special moves. You get so many points towards specials. Each one costs a certain amount of points based on damage ect. Pick from the rosters specials ( or original moves unlocked during the game) So you could give him hotarao's lava blast but make it blue so it looks like water splashing. Then maybe kobra's flame kick but change the fire purple, (kinda like his super spin kick in mkt). Then say pick subs ice blast as his water trap from mkt ( minus being able to controll him in mid air ), but change the energy blast to purple. say those moves came out to 10 points. Now you have your very own home made "Rain". Maybe not perfect, but everyone will get the idea of what your going for. 3 fighting styles, 3 specials, everyone stays balanced. Now just pick your fatalities ( from a list of everyone elses fatalities, plus some special one's unlocked during the games) and you have a simple yet effective create a fighter.
