Fans looking to reignite old hostilities can do so with the Mortal Kombat X Kold War Pack! The downloadable skins pack features three Soviet inspired alternate attires: Revolution Kano, Tundra Sub-Zero & Motherland Sonya. You can find the pack in US online stores for $3.99, or Russian online for 207,00 р (Rubles).

The Mortal Kombat X Kold War theme began with Scorpion -- a GameStop Pre-Order exclusive designed by fan artist fear-sAs [full story]. The concept borrows from DC Comics' Elseworlds story Superman: Red Son - which NetherRealm utilized in their work on Injustice: Gods Among Us [full story]

More nationally inclined costumes are coming soon in the Brazil Skin Pack. Klassic Reptile was recently released free with a patch update, with more Klassic Skins coming as part of The Kombat Pack.

Do these skins have a story to go with them?
I mean, did Kano support a Revolution somewhere during the Cold War?
Did Sonya go undercover in the USSR? She is kind of young for that. Or, by the current global situation, the Cold War may not be over yet.....
Did Shinnok, Kitana and Kenshi have a confrontation in Medieval Japan? Did Shinnok try to escape and was prevented?

A story with the skins would be cool!

NRS's original reveal didn't include them. MK's officiel website never added them in. It's better to confirm your information straight from the main source than being disappointed for trusting a website that thought all the DLC would be included.

The main reason I was expecting them is because I assumed the Kombat Pack was a Season Pass, which I always though gave you access to all DLC for a certain period of time.

Like I said though, I don't even like these skins at all so im not missing out on anything :)

I don't think MK9 or Injustice's season passes included all the costumes either, did they? I'm pretty sure you had to buy the Klassic Skin pack as well as the other Injustice skins separately.

Hell, even games with a "Season Pass" don't include all the DLC sometimes. You shouldn't expect anything, especially when it comes to DLC.

The kold war skins are great.
Love Sonya she looks awesome and i am so greatfull she finally has more then 2 skins. Her player 2 colour is great btw.
It was Well worth the Money.

The brazill pack.... Well probably wont be spending my money on it.

Which is ridiculous. If you spend $60, then another $30 on a "pack" for dlc, it should include ALL future dlc. No idea why people keep supporting these cash grab scams. I love MK, but I am not buying the game until it is done, finished, and "komplete" for around $20 down the road. Patience has its rewards, especially on my bank account. I support dlc if it is truly quality, genuine new items released months after release to keep a game fresh. But MKX has to be one of the worst nickel & dime dlc scenarios I have yet seen. That said, Nothing beats Blizzard's balls for charging $30 for one mount; one of many reasons I quit that game long ago.

This pack is alright. Definitely better than the Brazil one. Also finally bought Blue Steel Subster earlier.

I need to train more with Sonya, Kano, Cage, and Liu so I can actually feel like they're worth the buy.
