As Kano head from the beaches to the arena, defeating Masked Guard as you go. After 3 or so areas, you will reach the arena. It's then that you see a cutscene with Sonya vowing to defeat Kano to save her men, Kano mocks Sonya with some dialogue from the movie... (Hello baby... did you miss me? Anyone?) They prepare to fight

Boss: SONYA (Character: Kano)

Sonya's pretty tough so watch it. She'll send a lot of ring tosses at you. You can dodge these and hit her with a canonball. If she gets you into a leg grab, you go into a Test Your Might sequence. If you win it, you'll break free and have a free hit on her. If you lose it, she throws you over and you hit the ground hard. At half hit, Sonya starts to speed up her attacks a little, use knife throw to your advantage. With that, keeping attacking and following the said above stragedy...and she'll eventually go down.

After the boss, Kano mocks Sonya some more and starts mercilessly beating Sonya... even though she's now having a hard time getting to her feet. Enraged, Johnny Cage races down to the arena. Shang Tsung has grown bored with the battle and tells Kano to finish her, however before Kano can perform his trademark fatality, Johnny Cage knocks him back, saving Sonya. Another fight nearly breaks out, but Shang Tsung orders a dismissal. Johnny Cage gives Kano one last dirty look before carrying Sonya's unconscious body away...

YOU BASTARD!!!! It's well written though, but still...

YOU BASTARD!!!!

I'd say it'll be fun to play and it would make a great game...(twitch twitch)

you little piece of dribble piss...

Only j/k. Its sounds great. Can't wait to write my own piece where Sonya annihilates him in MK3. Oooh yeah!! grin
Part 15: Preparation (as Raiden)

Sonya wakes up where she learns from Johnny Cage that she lost the match and that her men have probably been killed. Devastated, Sonya pounds on his chest...

Raiden calls Liu Kang to go to the Warrior Shrine... Liu Kang heads out. As Raiden, head there yourself (from a different path this time) Taking care of Masked Guard as you go. Eventualy you'll reach the Warrior Shrine where Liu Kang will be waiting. A cutscene will trigger where Raiden tells Liu Kang everything about what there is to come with becoming the champion... After Kung Lao (the original) defeated Shang Tsung 500 years prior, he never aged and as a result, he had to watch his family and friends grow old and die... if Liu Kang is to defeat Goro.. he will go through the same thing... Liu Kang is reluctant and unsure nevertheless he agrees to spar wtih Raiden to prepare for Goro.

Boss: LIU KANG (Character: Raiden)

Liu Kang is fast, he'll do the Flying Kick a lot, so teleport when he does so and shoot him with lightning. Eventually he'll get mad and do the three fireball combo attack, when he starts it, do the torpedo to stop him. Keep outmanuerving him and he'll go down.

Part 16: Shadows (as Johnny Cage)

While Sonya is recovering, Johnny Cage gets a note from an unknown warrior which says to meet him at the PIt for a challenge, unsure of what to do, he decides to check it out (and thinks that it might be Kano, who he wants to get back at because of what he did to Sonya) Head from the resting area to outside, where the map will tell you which direction to go. Follow the paths, fighting Masked Guard as you go and you'll eventually reach the Pit. It's then that Reptile comes out of the shadows shouting. "You have found me! Now prove yourself!"

Boss: REPTILE (Character: Johnny Cage)

Reptile fights like he did in MK:SM, except his appearance is more... human. Use the Force Balls and Shadow Kicks to your advantage, when he gets done to half health, he will rip off his mask to reveal his reptillian head, Now the battle gets tricky, he'll try to use his tongue and to reel you on and bit at your head, you go into a Test Your Might here. When this is done, keep on the attack, being careful to dodge the tongue and eventually he'll go down.
Part 17: Destiny (as Liu Kang)

Now the time to battle Goro has come, you take control of Liu Kang and must go to Goro's Lair. At Goro's Lair, a cutscene starts. Liu Kang is reluctant to go in, Raiden appears and asks him why he is hesitating, they talk and Raiden gives a moving speech that motivates Liu Kang and he heads in.

You regain control of Liu Kang, and must fight past the Oni, soon you find Goro...

Boss: GORO (Character: Liu Kang)

Goro plays like he did in Shaolin Monks. If he gets you by his lower arms, you go into a Test Your Might. Keep hitting him with your projectiles, and Bicycle Kicks, keep your distance and he'll go down.

With a Bicycle Kick, Liu Kang knocks Goro to the ground, who slowly passes out...

Then the camera pans around to a dramatic shot in which Liu Kang raises his fist in victory...
Part 18: Union (You rotate between Johnny Cage, Sonya and Kano)

News of Goro's defeat reaches Shang Tsung, enraged, he sends his army out to kill the Tournament Fighters...

Johnny Cage and Reptile are still on the Pit Bridge, when suddenly the Masked Guard attack and Cage is forced to run. Raiden appears and teleports Cage to safety.

Sonya gets up out of bed, where she hears the sounds of fighting, she sees the fighters getting killed by the Masked Guard, you can control of Sonya for a bit here, fighting Masked Guard, until Raiden teleports Sonya to safety.

Then you see Liu Kang climb out of Goro's Lair, in which Raiden teleports him.

Scorpion and Sub-Zero are about to begin a match, but then the masked guard attack and Raiden tells them both to follow him.

At the Warrior Shrine, Raiden teleports Kano in (who Sonya immediately attacks) and tells them what is happening and that they must unite to battle Shang Tsung. Liu Kang must fight Shang Tsung alone. Johnny Cage will take Sonya and Kano to fend off Goro while he will take Scorpion and Sub-Zero to fend off Shang Tsung's army.... after some more dialogue, you take control of Johnny Cage with Sonya and Kano by your side, but you will have the option to switch character control. At the Pit Bridge, you find Goro...

Boss: ENRAGED GORO (Character: Johnny Cage, Sonya, Kano)

Goro is back and he's angry. Though you control only one character at a time, the other two will still appear on screen to help you out, you can switch between them at any time...

If Goro does a ground pound energy move in place, Johnny Cage would be best to use since he can jump the highest.

If Goro does starts doing ground pounds from above multiple times use Sonya.

If Goro comes at the combatants directly, use Kano.

Use the same stragedy you used as Liu Kang and Goro will go down

the way u put it in the begining is exactly how the tekken 3 intro gos from char to char which is really coolwinkgrin
Part 19: The Army (as Raiden, Scorpion and Sub-Zero)

Reptile comes at you with the Masked Guard, you take control of Sub-Zero first and fight off several Masked Guard, after a bit Reptile comes and attacks you, when you get him down to 2/3s of his health, he disappears and player control switches to Scorpion. Once again as Scorpion fight past the Masked and get another third of Reptile's health done, finally player control switches to Raiden, where you finish the Masked Guard and Reptile off...

Reptile runs off. Just as Sub-Zero turns to go, Scorpion challenges him for a final fight, Sub-Zero merely laughs and taunts Scorpion again, but Scorpion is determined to win...

Boss: SUB-ZERO (Character: Scorpion)

Sub-Zero's pretty tough, he's got plenty of moves at his disposal, as Scorpion get in close, put in a combo and jump away as his heath goes down, he gets faster. Make sure to dodge his freeze moves and hit him with the spear when you can. When his health gets lower, he'll charge up a Polar Blast, you must quickly do a teleport punch to stop him. Eventually, when his health meter is done to only one left, he will go into an absolute frenzy. He'll bombarde you with attacks, you must blocked if you don't want to get hurt badly. Don't try to punch him, he'll block as well. You must get as far away as you can and hit him with the spear, once you do Scorpion will reel him in and automatically give him the final blow...

(Sub-Zero is on his knees, defeated and bleeding. Scorpion walks toward him.)
Scorpion: This for my friends... (punches him again)
Sub-Zero: No.. Stop!
Scorpion: This for my father! (punches him again) My wife! (again) (punches him again sending Sub-Zero reeling on the ground) My son!
Sub-Zero: Get back... stay back...
Scorpion: And this....
Sub-Zero: No!
Scorpion: This is for you! (takes off his mask and reveals his faceless skull causing Sub-Zero to scream in terror and fear.)
Scorpion: See me for what I am now... see the monster that you created!
Sub-Zero: No... stay back! Wait! Please...
Scorpion: You... who are without mercy... now plead for it? You showed me no mercy, why should I show you any?
(Sub-Zero tries to run, but he can't walk.)
Scorpion: (his eyes flare with fire) Goodbye Lin Kuei...
(He lets out a stream of fire that burns Sub-Zero alive, who screams in pain and anguish as the flesh burns off his bones...)

With that Scorpion laughs in joy and screams "VENGEANCE! VENGEANCE IS MINE!" With that Scorpion bursts into flame and turns to ash while Raiden just stands on a cliff, having watched it all.

gd but i dont see sub-zero scream in terror and fear or give up that easy. its just not him. rather than sub-zero scream u chould get close up into sub zero's eyes which u can see the fear in his eyes when Scorpion takes his mask off and get Scorpion break his legs or something before doing the flame skull thing because I dont see (and i know other fans will agree with me) sub-zero give up that easy. other than its gd

Hmm, yeah, I see what devilwithin is saying about the fear thing. It should be in his eyes but doesn't have to be expressed through screaming.

thank you
Eh.... I had to. I don't know why but...

Part 20: Final Battle (as Liu Kang)

Now you take control as Liu Kang and you must go the Shang Tsung's palace, dodge the Masked Guards, battle them, and eventually you will get to Shang Tsung's palace where a dialogue scene takes place... (it would be very dramatic, but I can't think of anything...)

Final Boss: SHANG TSUNG (Character: Liu Kang)

Shang Tsung can morph into any warrior, even yourself. He can also fight as himself, however he doesn't block. Dodge his fireballs and then leap into the air and when you land hit him with a combo, when you get him done to half health, he'll morph into Raiden and automatically hit Liu Kang with lightnning, you go into one final test your might, where you have to keep your health from going down, you can destroy the pillars to refill your health bar.

Now he gets faster, you must keep attacking and refilling your health bar, when you get him down to an inch of health, you MUST deliver the Flying Kick in order to defeat him! Once you do, congratulations, you'll have beaten the game!

Shang Tsung is knocked unconscious and with that, the island starts to crumble. Liu Kang runs outside, meanwhile at the Pit, the bridge breaks causing Sonya, Kano and Goro to fall. Johnny Cage is able to grab onto what's left of the bridge. Raiden saves Johnny Cage and gets him off the island just in time. Liu Kang watches the explosion from a boat... looking back at what remains of the island, many questions fill his mind: he wonders what fate has in store for him and the fate of his friends? He wonders how long he has to keep fighting, now that he is the Champion of Mortal Kombat... he can't age, how long will he have to fight? Only the future can say for sure...

With that the credits roll.... after the credits... a final image appears with a silohette (sp?) of Shao Kahn...

Tell me what u think of ideas and if u going use them.

r u going to try the 2 bouse levels i was talking bout
^Maybe. The Original Kung Lao level might be good, though the Goro level might be a little hard, he'd probably have a huge advantage, unless Kung Lao was made super powerful...

Unlockables:

(Yeah I decided to do this. Why not?)

Bonus Level: Legacy (as the original Kung Lao)

As the original Kung Lao, you meet with the highest Shaolin order and tell you that you must defeat Shang Tsung as they are growing concerned with his victories... They know of the darkness that is in his soul and tell Lao that he must put an end to it and become the new Champion of Mortal Kombat... Lao agrees to defeat Shang Tsung...

Make your way through the grounds, learning how to control Kung Lao... then you get to the arena...

Boss: SHANG TSUNG (Character: Original Kung Lao)

Shang Tsung fights the same as he did before, except he's in his young form from MK2 and he doesn't morph into anyone (except the original Kung Lao) Just follow the same patterns as you did when you fought him as Liu Kang and he should go down... However, he's more powerful than he was in the final boss battle so be careful.

After you beat him, watch as Kung Lao becomes the new champion of Mortal Kombat...

Bonus Level 2: Darkness (as Goro)

As Goro, you talk to Shang Tsung... outside the tournament arena. Practive for a bit as Goro and then head inside.

Boss: ORIGINAL KUNG LAO (Character: Goro)

Kung Lao's pretty fast, that's his advantage over you... make sure you keep the distance close on him.... When he gets done to half health, he really picks up the speed... Keep getting him in grabs and put the crap out of him for as long as you can... as soon as his health goes down you win...

Goro stands over the defeated Kung Lao.. with that Shang Tsung walks forward and then devours Kung Lao's soul...

Unlockable videos:

Training with Bo' Rai Cho:

Watch Liu Kang as he tracks down Bo' Rai Cho, who agrees to train him to help him defeat Shang Tsung... various comic moments occur (mostly because Liu Kang finds some of Bo' Rai Cho's methods disgusting) Watch Liu Kang as he punches punching bags, practices his speed... learns how to use weapons... such as how to throw a sword...

Bo' Rai Cho: Target practice.
(He is standing a few feet away from Liu Kang and points to a target, Liu Kang takes the swords and throws them... they attach to something, however he looks surprised..)
Bo' Rai Cho: That's good... but next time... (we see the swords have pinned him up against the wall) AIM!

(Liu Kang uses a Bo Staff and spars with Bo' Rai Cho... he gets beaten around for a bit while Bo' Rai Cho tries to tell him to focus and control his feelings)

Eventually Liu Kang masters the training and he learns the Flying Kick... Bo' Rai Cho tells him to go defeat Shang Tsung and save Earthrealm... Liu Kang gives a thumbs up and leaves... (And if I had my way... "I am the tiger" would be playing during the training sequence. grin)

Special Forces Training:

Basically like before... except we see Sonya's origins... we see her father and her first time meeting Jax...

Acting Career:

We see scenes of Johnny Cage's various movies...

Family:

We see Scorpion (as a human!) with his wife and child... (who is a boy) Hanzo plays with his young son for a bit... then he gets the call to go to the Shirai Ryu Temple... he kisses his wife goodbye and leaves... sometime later... we see the wife and son having dinner... just then the door blasts open... and we a shadow... (Quan Chi) then a blast of green energy and a woman's scream...

Lin Kuei Training:

As a child (around 8 years old) Sub-Zero is training inside the Lin Kuei Temple... he is going through a course... dodging various fake bullets and avoiding the traps like a faster... Two adult Lin Kuei Warriors watch him from a monitor...

Lin Kuei Warrior 1: Did you see that?
Lin Kuei Warrior 2: Yeah, I see it all the time from this kid. That's Sub-Zero's son. He's the best.
Lin Kuei Warrior 1: There's no way he could possibly finish this course, it's at the highest difficulty!

But Sub-Zero proves him wrong by flawlessly getting to his assigned target (which is a dummy) In true fashion, Sub-Zero beheads it and and throws the head to the ground.

Lin Kuei Warrior 1: Unbelieveable!
Lin Kuei Warrior 2: Well, I did tell you
Lin Kuei Warrior 1: My God... what's he going to be like when he's full grown?
(He's interupted)
Sub-Zero: Open up! I'm done!
(The Lin Kuei Warrior quickly complies)
Liu Kuei Warrior 2: You were great kid. It's your little brother's turn. Go get him for us would you?
(Sub-Zero walks out with a nod and without a word.)

(Outside... Younger Sub-Zero and Smoke grapple (both appear to be around 6 years old) They are either training or just playing or maybe both.)
Older Sub-Zero: Knock it off.
Younger Sub-Zero: (turns around) Big brother!
Older Sub-Zero: It's your turn now. You're to do the exact same difficulty I just did.
Younger Sub-Zero: Aw, come on. I'm not as good as you.
Older Sub-Zero: You could be if you stopped whining and slacking off. Now come on! (He grabs his little brother and makes him walk inside.)
